The manner in which the bloc is traded as a one I have raised and even going so far as to suggest the FCC might want to look into the patterns. I have long expressed a wish for the shares to decouple, and am suspicious as to why they haven't given IAG has a significant reliance on a market that Easy J is not involved with in any way. It is still irrelevant against the overall strategy, if circumstances allow. One day, the US routes will be reopened. When? Many thousands of pis are making daily decisions guessing when that may be and taking positions, or withdrawing positions, accordingly. I have been open about my strategy - on taking profits with the likes of Easy J, switch to IAG a head of US routes opening up. Whether I add 2%, 5% or 55% on top of any Easy J gains doesn't matter. The switcheroo is icing on the cake. If I am lucky, it will be a thick marzipan and royal icing layer with a cherry on the top. But a simple kitchen made runny drizzle topping will also suffice.
Of course the whole thing could go horribly wrong and I end up with less than half my stake money due to travel collapse, rights issues, and new pandemics. If that is the end result, I have a full bathroom refit paid for out of the profits to date, a lovely new larder fridge which is already full of veg crap I'll never eat [let her be the rabbit, lol] and overall with other profits I will just about break even cash wise ready to buy the tickets to the next trip to the states, although I almost booked Dubai as a long weekend quickie the other day.
