As for the choice of board, I am free to post information I believe to be very pertinent to airline stock on a bb that is concerned with one of the biggest airline stocks around, especially since it is AIM listed. My focus is timing a brief move in and out of a specific share, IAG. Somewhat bizarrely, I end up making my comments on a bb focused on the IAG share. Funny that. The opportunity may be too late in the year with ref to cop though. This is the board that a few yanks post on and thereby have a better prospect of getting a heads up on the critical info to decide on making the switcheroo - when will the US open it's doors to the UK. I will continue to focus singularly on this board. You should filter me and concentrate on your echo chamber telling you how wonderful and bright the future is for all long term holders.

BClissold, my suspicion is that the back burning practices over the last couple of years have been deliberate storing up a 'big event'. Whether this is done to coincide with other events is difficult to say. But there are a rather high number of ignition sites at very different locations around the planet and the loud silence in reporting the possibility that the fires were set off deliberately is noticeable. We saw these sort of fires about 11 or 12 years ago and the conclusion was very clear, stopping natural fires built up a powder keg scenario. It looks like the exact same has happened again but there is a new hook to hang the fires on as is being done this morning with specific claims fires and heat waves are absolutely linked to climate change. The links are as tenuous as they have always been from the initial claims of an new ice age in the 70's to today.

Now, try selling air travel amongst that narrative. If some of you can not see the problem of air line stocks against the anti-fossil fuel mass media hysterical reporting with all counter points actively suppressed, well good look with your investments going into the near and long term. You can't say you have not been given a reason to think very carefully about the potential for all air traffic to be capped at the current semi-lock down level as an outcome of cop in November.

Currently this political movement is still on the fringe in most places, but as it is mostly Marxist in nature like the climate change and green lobby, there is a merging of the agendas with occasional cross-referencing. Note how there is an apparent embracing of capitalism in the sub-text. That is like the green lobby assuring you there is a place for air travel. You know what they mean is that there is a place for air travel to fly environmentalists around the planet to meet face to face but the masses must accept a very significant reduction in their freedom. It will soon be like the old communist system. To get access to anything you will have to sign up and be a full card carrying member of the party. To some extent it is already like that. The bosses of the airlines find themselves obliged to make pronouncements and policies directed at appeasing the green lobby in order to keep a toe in the acceptability waters. As long as 'names' in the green movement continue to be upgraded at check-in, especially on flights to Glasgow in a couple of months time, then some of the worst impacts of the hysteria can be held off. But unless there is a true uprising from the plebiscite, the future is not looking good.

For the record, profit or not, I expect to be out virtually all stocks by the mid of October because the hysteria over this cop things is just going to grow and grow until most stocks are going to be hit in some way.

Things are not what they seem - note the date on the article. Beware the apparent consensus in reporting. The claims that the current state of fires is due to climate change is void. It is to do with man's interference, interfering with natural fires. The unchallenged environmental lobby has stopped a lot of back burning and stopped a lot of natural fires. And the same as the big fires over a decade ago, the results are clear to see. If it was meant to burn, it is going to burn one day. Look at how the current fires are being expressed in terms of climate change claims. Still plan to hold airline stocks in your retirement portfolio with this hysterical and totally false reporting? Just watch, airlines will be heavily attacked and suppressed in the cop meeting. There will be no broadcast challenge to the hysterical false science that will go with it. These false and entirely incorrect correlations are heading towards major suppression of freedom to travel. And the whole thing is based an a basic lie. It is an astonishing thing to see.
