IF, IF, a big if, if CO2 has increased then more carbolic acid should be formed and the very sensitive plant life would be reacting to it. If you believe in it, then it might be there. Wonder what happened to all those droughts and the standpipes at the end of the road. And where have all the floods gone? I remember the sombre predictions that is was going to take 50, 100 years for the hole to repair. It was repaired within a few months. Next year, the hole is back. The repaired. The 'hole' over both poles is a seasonal upper atmosphere effect caused by effects such as polar vortexes which prevent replenishment ect. I wrote a narrative on it at the time as part of my physics degree - very end of the 90's. Every five years you will hear a reference to it as the next funding round comes about and urgent please thet the situation 'must be monitored' are made. Banning CFCs only helped producers who happened to have large stocks of alternatives ready to go at the factory gates. But lessons gleaned from the great ozone hole on how media reacted to the panic in an unquestioning and differential way were being put to use for a much longer term societal marxist based control mechanism. Which car has both a duel diesel and petrol engine? Never heard of such a thing. I presume there are separate tanks for the petrol and diesel. I have a bi fuel car, LPG and petrol. I pay 58p a litre for fuel in the UK and can use LPG on the continent too. I often wonder why I seem to be so much better off than most. I do wonder.

The catastrophic impact of trying to force people to switch to EV cars may well end up with a new set of unintended political masters. The plebs will only take being pushed around so far. Just because BA put on what they call budget flights from Gatwick, or anywhere, does not follow that they will take market share from anybody. They may have seen a gap in the market, they may try to undercut on seat price. But there are other critical things such as where the destination airport is relative to the travellers destination and the flight times. Easy J may already be at capacity for the current state of the market and BA may well be just taking up the slack. Easy may be leaving Gatwick to focus on Luton in a cost cutting exercise without any lose in passenger numbers (damn sight easier and cheaper to get to Luton than Gatwick not having to cross south London!!).

You ARE wrong. You have no idea of the nature of those flights, schedule, engineering, cargo. Without passenger numbers and some indication of what discount they are paying, if any, the number of flights is meaningless. Before there were flights, there was some revenue. If there are more passenger flights, they could be running at a loss for all we know.

DO please explain how rearranging what data you have into numerical order informs us in any way what the rate of change of passenger numbers and with respect to what, or indeed the rate of change of aircraft movements.

A propaganda editorial in some medical journals has been arranged. From this we are all supposed to believe that there is a consensus and full agreement that a significant body of professionals affirms the climate hysteria claims.

We will almost surely never see the content of most of the 'letters to the editor' of these publications, unless we have a rare moment of leaking and the truth being outed as with the climategate emails, but I can give you a written guarantee - as with the 1st IPCC meeting, most of those associated will raise major objections to the editorial content and claims and register themselves as having no part of it. The majority of those involved in the 1st IPCC objected so strongly they either withdraw entirely or refused to have their names associated with the report. What was left was a committee of pure believers and all subsequent reports reflect that. It will be interesting to see whether the medical community will be as suppressed - not so many of them rely on funding from the climate change trough, unless the hysteria campaign has found a way to link fundamental health funding to compliance in signing up to the narrative.

But I think the funniest thing about it this morning is that in the same broadcast the BBC was running a story 'exposing' an apparent organised campaign of Russian trolls posting on news websites in order to create a narrative reflecting a Russian point of view. That story is then followed by the description of a bare faced pan global organised propaganda exercise which as perfectly acceptable!!!

No EV battery will ever maintain a performance above 80% of its capacity as when new. It is physically impossible due to the laws of thermodynamics - entropy! Anybody who has any device with a rechargeable battery in to knows from direct experience the battery degrades on each charging cycle. It is why there are so many bespoke designs, because you have to keep buying that dedicated batter - and why there is no generic car battery, so you have keep paying and paying again for that particular car manufacture battery. For the celebrated cars with 300,000 miles on the clock, it is because the original battery was never changed and the car range needs only to be 10 miles for the school run, you never see those celebrated long life cars being demonstrated out on the California freeways, only once round the block for the cameras! And as for old batteries in colder climates? In hilly terrain?

And as for this existing network of power cables, they are single phase and rated to 30 amp. For the dream charging times we are to believe will exist will require a new network of 2 and 3 phase local domestic supplies with amperage into the hundreds. The concept of people charging cars of a 13amp cable at the local supermarket is a nonsense, it is simply not practical and requires the ability to supply thousands of kWh at once, per charging site.

And where exactly is all this additional electricity going to come from. Even now the grid is barely capable of meeting demand from autumn through to late spring. IT IS WHY NEW NUCLEAR POWER STATIONS ARE BEING FAST TRACKED!!!!! And that is just to meet existing demand. A lot of very prominent people in engineering and academia have trying to get a voice on this.
