The point is, I do respect what the CEO said, all of it, in the full. I don't selectively filter parts or selectively qoute to reenforce any bias. Your get rich quick stock is falling again. For gawds sake take those rose tints off!

How anybody can be do sure about the financial position whilst the issue is and has been under discussion is beyond me. 3 brokers said out loud, IAG needs another RI. IAG said no emergency taping of funds. But the interview also said it was an option of last resort. Currently we can not say what the options are being explored with the financiers. Dilution can also come in the form of a debt swap. The ii investors like Qatar but buy new tranch of shares diluting again. And other airlines in the same position as IAG are having to embark on more fund raising.
If you understand the risk and accept it, good luck. But don't ramp the hell out of it, dismiss all negative possibilities and then sign off, dyor. Clearly some people will just not tolerate pis doing just that, their OWN research.

travel ban for US to be lifted END of November! That is not very good news. I expect that was already priced in - indeed I expect little more uplift now when the firm details of the US opening up are published, whenever that might be. It is the worst of the permutations, and we still don't know what testing and whether all ports of entry will open. Furthermore, given the comparatively low vaccination rates in some areas, will there be return to UK restrictions. Again, unknown and past performance on that one is very bad. Another opening up of travel in name only? Many were booking flights for the half-term, that is the end of October expecting it to open up then. If it is going to be the end of November as the Telegraph reports, that is terrible news!

The point scoring and willy waving of some on here is just hilarious at times.

Thanks sundenza, I'm not watching it at the moment because I'm not expecting any rights issue or dilution. I am on news alerts from IAG though.
