Matt
Thanks for your posts.
Did you discuss consolidation on the call?

Another 50,000 shares for me. That takes me to 600,000 now and is as many as I will buy here.
Art needs to deliver. Get the GGS sorted. Get the recompletions done. The JV appears to either be hot air or commercially unattractive. Otherwise it would have been completed by now. As for the consolidation. I won't be supporting the motion which would allow the consolidation of up to 1000/1.
My hands are largely tied on COPL and the shares are in the bottom drawer. I take some assurance from the RS report and the fact James Goozee has come on board with a significant holding. PREM were in a similar position to COPL two and a half years ago and have 40 bagged since. I don't think COPL will 40 bag but I don't see how the company isn't worth multiples of its current SP. Even with a firesale, I cannot see how the company would be sold for less than by 13.5p average per share.
Good luck all,
Bickmaster
There are so many similarities with where PREM was 2 years ago and where COPL is at the moment it is uncanny. Poor financing, awful comms, shareholder disdain for management. But great assets.
The catalyst for PREM was (1) getting their licence through for the EPO area at Zulu (2) Agreement with Suzhou.
COPL doesn't need any more licences as PREM did to unlock their assets. They do however need a good JV partner and I am confident this will be resolved in the coming weeks.
PREM has 20 bagged in 2 years and 40 bagged since the lows of 0.02p in 2019. Lets hope the current 6p is our 0.02p moment and we can 40 bag from here.
Good luck all,
Bickmaster
PREM are up 160% in the last 12 months. COPL is down 85% over the same period. Time for Art to get his act together.
So what happened to the JV we were supposed to get in early January?
Jiddy,
I sincerely hope you are right and my 20p target gets blown out of the water. But the fact of the matter here is that 20p is almost a 3 bagger from current levels. There’s a reason the SP is where it is. Also need to look at the current state of the markets which isn’t helping. This could go bust or be taken out cheaply as likely as having a big payday for holders. Indeed it is more likely the outcome here will be negative rather than positive. Binary play for me here. Art needs to deliver a good RNS tomorrow and not kick the can down the road. He had had the last 10 weeks to finalise terms for the JV. Id equally be happy with selling the company if it resulted in 20p a share.
Bickmaster
Antha,
I’d be delighted to get out at 20p.
Bickmaster
Hindhead,
If someone was seeking to takeover COPL on the back of a failed JV why would they need to pay 32p. Given cureent SP of 6p, would they not make an approach at 9p and justify that as good value at 50% uplift to market.
Hopefully it never comes to that and Art announces the JV in the coming days.
Bickmaster
Excellent post Artemis.
Binary play for me also. £18m is ridiculous but is the result of years of poor finance deals. £100m cap with 400m shares in play would give a SP of 25p. I’d be more than happy with that and would cash in, never to invest in AIM or AIMesque main market stocks ever again.
Critical two weeks ahead. I’ll either be building the new house mortgage free or having to take out a mortgage for 50% of it, with a bitter taste left after COPL.
I’d be more than happy with a takeover at £100m though it would valued the reserves and potential to extract a chunk of the 993m Ryder Scott barrels at a huge discount.
Biggest risk for me is that Anavio is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and will take over for a small premium to current SP.
Good luck on the dating front!!
Bickmaster
Pilot, give me 20p and I’d be out with a smile on my face.
Please also note the $16m includes $5.3m for miscible flooding inputs so if that was not undertaken the amount required is much closer to $10m.
Strong RNS this morning.
Nice to see good thicknesses of higher grades at shallower depth than some of the previous assay results released. If GR really wants this to explode he should prepare and release a RUS or even a DFS over the 19,000m drilled to date. That would get the market going in tandem with the potential for production over the next few months.
Good luck all,
Bickmaster
Give me 50p and I’ll be out and more than happy. Easier to say that with a 20p average as I know some have much higher averages.
Let’s hope we get some good news this week which pushes us back towards or even above the 20p level.
Good luck all.

Plasmerman,
Good stuff. Japan should be nice. Nuclear Physics is a great area to be getting into with the push to role out SMRs in the UK and worldwide, especially given the number of different technology providers. I do a lot of work with the UK nuclear sector and was even lucky enough to work on a project with Professor Carlo Rubbia about 15 years ago.
Well done to the milkman!!
Bickmaster
Plasmerman,
Well done on selling the business and enjoy the Bahamas.

BigBear,
Following up from your 11.52 post, is there a risk Anavio, Art and other can make their multiples and the lowly private investors do not get brought along for the ride?
The level of Anavio support appears to be a risk to private investors as much as it derisks COPL in the short term from cash flow issues whilst opening up the opportunities to get more oil flowing.
Bickmaster
P.S. I’m sitting here on 300,000 shares so not looking to deramp.

I'm not advising anyone. If I was my advice would be don't invest on AIM. But I'm not.
Bickmaster
More proof in the pudding that GR needs to stop doing interviews!!This will recover and the current blip provides an excellent opportunity to top up. I, however, will be waiting until mid-late February to top up.
Good luck all,
Bickmaster
Just popped on HL and can’t get a quote for 20000 shares, never mind the 100000 I tried first. Big sign this is oversold.
Bickmaster
Tuvok,
I would also be happy with 50p per share. Current average is 20p but I am planning to take another 200k shares in the coming days to average down to 17p.
I imagine Art is very close of getting the JV done, hence the reason for the current radio silence. Will we see a JV before Xmas? My fingers are crossed though I imagine most of those involved are on holidays from Friday. So early 2023 is more likely in my opinion.
Keep the faith. The assets are there. It is simply a case of monetising them without going broke first or incurring too much dilution.
