The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Murphinp - clinicla trials can last months to years, it depend on which phase its on and what they are trialing. theres no set standard timeset for it.
Basser1 - as usual being negative towards people asking a question.
So what makes you think i dont understand how the company works?
Beacuse i have posted a small opinon that apparantly according to you im not entitled to.
Motives? My motives are the same as anyone else that invests in shares, that the company does well and increases the value of the shares i hold.
I would question your motives, are they to try and bully and berate shareholders that decided to post their opinon in the chat so that they dont get involved in the conversations so that only those that post regularly can influence the share chat?
Basser - What wont happen? Ive said i have been in this for 6 years so far so it is a long investment, it isnt going to happen overnight, ive not said its another 2/3 or 4 years away.
Rebster - i havent stated anywhere that this is years away, where are you pulling that from? ive said I have been in this for 6 years and that research, trials and approvals take a long time, which they do and have done so far.
I dont chat here much but i do enjoy the back and forth sometimes. FYI - I invested here about 6 years ago now, the value has went up, down, stayed the same for a long time then shot up last year due to covid and impuse buys that then sold as soon as it spiked. Im here for the long term, i know this will come good based on all the great research the company are doing and working on and reasearch for new drugs take time (ALOT OF TIME). i have no doubt this will come good. I could have left last year as i have more than 4x my original investment but im holding out for the big one, the big buyout or drug breakthrough announcment that will shoot this stock right up.
Again IMO this is still a while away if anyone investing here thinks thats its just a quick oppertunity im sorry but you have 2 options - getting out or learning how to deal with the wait. Those that continually moan about the stock dropping and not moving, do you understand how stock and shares work? Things need to happen within the industry or company for an upward trend to happen- either some news or progression of reaserch there working on, if it goes down its prob due to people that cant/wont wait any longer selling their shares.
Im not telling anyone what to do thats not me im just hopefully answering the question asked and giving my opionon based on the years i have invested in here.
I am laughing that for a long time everyone has been waiting for the share to break the 1p mark and i mean a Loooooooooooong time. It finally did and now only a couple of weeks have passed a lot of people complaining that its dropped to 1.8p.
Lets hope so, been in this for 5 years bought at 0.89p saw a great profit this morning and thought yeah good investment with a lot more news to come. Then started seeing this drop and my stomach is churning as i think should have cashed out and bought back in. But hindsight is a wonderful thing.
In it for the long haul, would be great to see the anywhere between 10p - 15p - 28p these seem to be the 3 figures that get spoken about more often than not.
Thanks guys, thought i had majorly missed something lol.
I bought in at 0.88p in 2016 so not a short time holder but not as long as some other out there either. Kinda mid aged i would say.
Let hope for a good afternoon and some news on brighty's points.
Another 2.5p to break even :)
