What a beautiful one it is!
Very quiet here last week trading wise , definitely a battle of wills.
I would of thought there would of been more movement especially with the new Year Isa’s.
But I suppose the investors who are already here are balls deep and there portfolio percentages on one share is enough!
It should be getting interesting in the next few months as time keeps ticking away.
Patience shall prevail!

I understand we won’t get a valuation at $1800 or even over a$1000 , but some of the low ball prices being thrown around are ludicrous.
All I am expecting is fair value and Shaun I trust will do his best.
He has more knowledge than any of us , me I think anything under $150m is low ball.
I may end up being disappointed, but hey ho right until the last I will stay optimistic.
Must rush I have to get a flight!

This 5% thing everyone seems to be ready to accept a low ball offer, not me !
It’s in the words fair market value!
So surely that should mean fair market value and that should also mean that we should accept fair market value!
That’s why it could go to an independent arbitrator.
I hope I’m right but there’s nothing we can do.

So if they would look to cut there losses could they poach your shares in transit?

This may seem stupid to the more knowledgeable investors, but when it starts people bedding into Isa’s , hypothetically when you sell and bed into your isa is there anyway the short can poach your shares or force the price up so less shares go across.
Just an honest question

What has happened to the weather, shorts last week and now long johns!
You couldn’t write it , anyway next week is end of tax year, then new isa’s , even with no news should see movement, I would of thought!
But the things are going anything could happen, good luck all and let’s hope this starts to turn.

Why have a dig at me , I got burnt here as well and had to sell at a loss!
I would like to see you lot get some if not all your monies back , but unfortunately in my eyes you won’t while Matt is in charge.

If you look at the market generally , there’s so many bargains out there including this share!
I wish I didn’t have this wedding coming up and the house in France.
You could easily double your money in a year.
But hey it’s a nice problem to have!

Show’s investors do not trust this board and they must feel there monies are safer elsewhere!

We as an older generation find debt a problem (ie most of us where bought up if you can’t afford it! Wait or you just didn’t have it)
The new generation are not afraid of debt, no matter how eye watering it is.
I finished a site last year average price of about £400k, so probably average mortgage would be about £300k, then they would have two cars leased on the drive and then brand new furniture being dropped off.
I’m on a good wack and I am going what the fcuk , they can have no clear money each month!
All in my opinion and if it is what they want so be it, not for me that:)))

I hope you are well, I know what you mean about TW i didn’t like this buy back scheme especially after they done a £500m raise to buy land the year before hand!
I may switch all to vistry as they have there fingers in the social housing big time (recession proof) .
The one to look out for could be Avant homes , I heard through the grapevine a while back David jenkinson has bought onto the board and he’s looking to float it.
Just a rumour.
Anyway good luck and when is Ggp going to make me a retiree like the rest of you:)))))

The house builders at the moment seem to be swinging at about 10%.
I will be honest on my assessment of the HB’s
There’s a massive labour shortage so at the moment we are at max speed!
Less people coming in than leaving, when I first started I would say the average age on site was about 30 years old, now about 50.
So this is holding back there sp, on top of that there’s the looming recession and people remember how much the HB’s got hammered.
This time I’m not sure wether we will or not, the HB’s are controlling the build program and they are churning out a lot of HA’s at the moment.
So they are having turnover on this and the private sector housing is sold before being built (starved market).
As soon as the recession kicks in the volatility will be a lot more.
The HB’s themselves in my view are a lot safer, they are cash rich and most are paying about 6% divi , the best divi payer is persimmons at about 10%ish .
I know Bamps was in this and I think TomE was in Tw as I am .
For me the best potential will probably be Vistry and Tw.
The no go for me is redrow.
All in my opinion of course
Normally I post the odd message on the Tw board just to let them know if we are busy and I will let them know if we slow down.

Thinking about it’s not always the case the buyers drive up the price, when you have a restricted stock it’s the sellers as well.
Take the housing industry the house builders set the price in this industry at the moment, because there is a shortage!
