Junglebabbler, I wish. No , We both left the same school in 1973. I went into the electricity industry. He was an extremely bright lad and exceptional at physics and maths. He went to NatWest straight from school for a good few years and I lost contact with him. Then years later, when the leccy boards were floated he was at a roadshow giving advice on purchasing the shares. We swapped numbers and have been in touch since. He’s 65 now and continues to work although only 3 days a week.

Stellabob , it makes little difference ,but I think the shorters are ready to leave because if pension funds are watching then it only wants one to decide to buy and this turns North extremely rapidly. That leaves them battling to escape.

I think it’s good news that larger companies are watching it and waiting to strike. Cos when they do it won’t be for bits of shares. I think his point was that a normal pi base gets panicky. Summit, he’s being doing it for 46 years so I suppose he’s more clued up than me. He started with NatWest, the Barclays de Zoete Wedd. He thinks 85% certainty of Newcrest taking the lot but without all the 2021 results cannot come up with a meaningful cost. Therefore they wait longer. By the way, the high pi investment base makes him nervous.:-)

Morning all. I had a chat with a friend who works on risk assessments on companies for a pension fund. He was shocked at Sandeep leaving out the additional 2021 drill results figures. His opinion was that the sp is being held back purposefully to create fear amongst holders in the hope that a large sell down occurs. However, if it somehow materialises soon then they will add it their assessment. He wouldn’t tell me if they were going to buy but asked my plans. I said that I intended to buy monthly. He just nodded and smiled.

I’m not going to discuss politics because I trust neither one side nor the other. However, we do shoot ourselves in both feet sometimes. There is a fantastic opportunity to produce green hydrogen in our own country and put it in existing networks at 20%. That’s 20% of the imported gas we no longer need. Then frack. If government pushed it a little harder we would see a benefit in the next couple of years.

The last nail in the coffin would be a Kcufup up with what could end up as one of the biggest gold find for decades.
