When due diligence is complete next week we MAY see, or Shaun MAY be allowed to give out the more accurate figure of what is in the ground. In other words, what the Newmont deal has been completed against. That would probably lift us above 11p anyway, because I think we all know it’s North of 8 million ounces gold equivalent and probably nearer to 10. After all 30% of it does belong to us.

Looks to me as though it’s extended to allow Newcrest time to discuss the offer and prepare for an announcement of acceptance. Deal done?

newmont know that ggp are **** hot with the exploration. i think they will still want them drilling the insides out of the paterson to increase their portfolio of high quality deposits. win win for both companies. don’t change what isn’t broken. imo obviously.
