Perhaps they're using a slightly different formulation which helps make the Interferon perform just as well at a lower dose or perhaps the nebulizer creates a finer mist. Is this also why they wanted to check against COPD results to confirm it is performing as well, the same or even better.
Whatever the outcome, we need to stop this virus in its tracks and prevent it from attacking other organs including the brain... Some nasty long term side effects coming to light now.

Fatgreek1... Remember SNG is, all carrying out their home trial on a virtual basis... First ever in the World to be done like this where the trial volunteers, are coached virtually by doctors in dosing etc... This is in my opinion all part of the package they are putting together in Southampton.
1. Saliva Test Kits for all key workers.
2. SNG001 inhalers
3. VIrtual GPs to assess, send out inhalers if not issued or available via workplace, coach, data collect, monitor etc...

Even if a vaccine becomes available, there is still some concern as to how long antibodies will last and so there has to be a fast and efficient upfront treatment to get people back to work ASAP...

Something not mentioned much on here but definitely mentioned by SNG /Richard... SNG001 is a formulation...and it's not just about the interferon content which is the active ingredient it's also very much about how the nebulizer works and how effective the other ingredients are as carriers etc getting the interferon down to where its needed and in such a state it is quickly and efficiently taken up by the body. It's not like pouring milk on your cornflakes...
Synairgen has had years of experience fine tuning their formulation and I wonder if said formulation has been tweeked for Covid19...

Simple question... Would Synairgen continue with a trial if it was obvious it wasn't working? Surely it would be morally wrong to do so let alone financially wrong, especially since we've seen other companies pull their trials.
This is not a hidden outcome...if its working the everyone involved will see the effects of a much speedier recovery.
So,let's just assume all is and has gone well in the hospital trial can we then assume the home trial is simply a matter of course...

10 June was a 10.32m day and 1 July was a 7.65m day so if we get any more large trading days then that should be clearest indication Acacia are dumping again...

I suspect its simply a case of up front selling Acacia shares by one or more brokers who know they can buy them from Acacia within an agreed price range. It's a form of rince and repeat...

Just shows Gilead doesn't care one tot about world health and they are just prepared to sell all to the highest bidder...Great, it will leave a much bigger pice of the pie out there for SNG001 and let's hope a tie in with a company with a greater moral base...

I don't think the sentiment is fear driven... I think lots pulled out once the news was put back to July and they simply felt they would use the time to trade elsewhere. Once we hit July I think some will start to move back but others may just wait until news breaks and will jump back in then.

Lansdown and Acacia sales didn't help but looking at today's trades I'd say cheeking buy orders, are being filled on the back of some sell orders/stop losses... Having cleaned up on a few of those they will now move the price North again and sell off some surplus to the new incoming...
What we don't know is when in July...sigh
I'm one of those who strongly believes if the COVID hospital trial wasn't working it would have been cancelled...our specialist in Southampton I'm sure would have called time on it... The fact they have an in home trial tells me they know it works and they are trying to speed up recovery rates even more to prevent hospitalisation. If that can be done then wow what a winner.

According to Prof Sir Jeremy Farrar on Andrew Marr this morning, from October onwards there will be huge Covid second wave problem if the Govt doesn't use July,and August to get the tracing system up and running and get the public confidence sorted plus get people to use the app en mass. He was very concerned also about people's reactions when normal winter coughs, colds and flu kick in. Will the public confuse Covid symptoms with something less serious and continue to go about their daily lives and continue to send their kids to school etc
Let's hope SNG001 will be available from all Doctors surgeries by then... Big ask but if you could get video conference with your doctor who could get a test kit to you at first signs followed by an inhaler should you test positive...now wouldn't that be good...

DUBLED.. Acacia bought at bag of shares at knock down price.. They had to take the full bag... They have been selling at a huge profit and will possibly pick up some IP business out of it too. The long and short they don't need to wait for any of these shares to rise any further... They are not investors in shares as such they are after IP business...
If they have decided to hold onto some SNG shares we'll fine and dandy but if they haven't then fine and dandy too as those shares will have been spread back out into a wider market.
IIs sell for all sorts of reasons just like PIs and sometimes they pull the plug early to cover losses elsewhere etc..

Acacia is nothing more than today's equivalent of the old asset stripper...

As the SP didn't go up today I'd hazard a guess no Monday 7am RNS was lodged around lunchtime today...
