And plenty of Contract manufacturers out there... Like the one we're already using to scale up...
Who needs a Pharma if you get Govt contracts direct... It would certainly help to keep the costs down...

Oh! forgot to mention..commercial partners would include manufacturers, distributors, agent etc. They all need to know that 'the drug' (SNG001) is protected by suitable patents to protect their pricing structures/business.
Nothing more than good business practice especially in a World of copycats and fakes!!!!

Mogul1...if Synairgen simply do a deal with a Pharma, then the IP remains with Synairgen, however, if a Pharma or ANother goes for a T/O or Buyout then they get all the IP which is where our real value lies. It will be down to our Scientists to draw up the scientific documentation for filing and I'm sure a suitor would want this all done prior to doing a deal...

They are patenting inhaled interferon beta (method of administering the likes of SNG001) as a specific treatment for virus-induced exacerbations in COPD patients undergoing treatment with oral corticosteroids (very specific patient target), They can do this because they have shown that inhaled interferon beta works in this very specific patient group.

This is great news and makes our IP even more valuable once the patent is approved. What's not to like???

The old AZ deal took some months to work through... I think from about August to March the following year. This time around they have that blue print to work from and the need for speed...

Not too far off.. 400 through at around 3.30 and another 200 after close.. So looks like they got around 1.1m cleared through today...

Lloydyboy666...it will take as long as it takes...bunch of scientists getting their opinions across...they just love to pull research apart...that's their job...good science is about trying to prove something doesn't actually work..odd principle but the soundest we have right now...all very odd to us mere mortals...
I'm more concerned about the regulatory end...a bunch of pen pushers and scientists who will take as long as it takes too...they're more into the dotting and crossing...

Fag packet numbers..looks like they are working thru about 1m to 1.2m today most of which has gone through on sells but only 500k on the buys. Balance may be put through after hours now as they are back in their 200 range again. They will keep us locked in this range until big orders are filled or next news from SNG whichever comes first...
Fingers crossed for regulatory approval next which is one thing not really pushed in todays interview... Sometimes you have to listern to what's not said to hear what's really going on... Wink wink...

Can we assume the eyes Synairgen caught as referred to by RM in this interview are that of Govt and Regulators...surely they are the key right now to everything...???!!!

He also refers to our new investors being potentially key to new finance... But also Government.

It was positive news.. Extremely.. But we are being worked/held...
The next news will be when they release us...and I suspect its not that far off...

Morning Orphidan... Great post and it's such common practice for these companies. Pharma and food companies often have one or more outsourced manufacturing sites these days. Many don't even consider in house production depending on product and sales territories. In our new world I believe we will see even more outsourcing...

Eva.. It should produce some good press.. Agree other steps are not in place yet.. But this is first step. The key is coinfections.. Flu and Covid... What other therapies can cope with both...???
