The other point not factored in is data collection with mass testing...OK so initially you might get some false negs but with mass testing you will get a much better idea of how prevalent the virus is within not only geographical locations but also age groups. However, mass testing is only ever going to work if you make it mandatory within the areas that matter/you want to protect. Having said that, the data collected from mass testing should then allow for fine tuning so that some households, streets, businesses etc will then have to undergo a further mandatory test....

On 14 Oct the day the Placing/offer was announced we opened at 226 so no reason we should be heading quickly back up to that level. OK there has be some dilusion but the company has received 87m directly into their bank account which they can now use as stated... So in my book the company is in a much, much stronger position.

Some of those big trades have come thru on LSE after hours. Amazed you guys aren't commenting on them..its as if some of you want to hide the fact millions are being traded behind the scenes... 30m at least over last 4 trading days...

Dumb punter... Haha... It will sit on the Balance Sheet as cash until spent... I was being a bit cheeky with that comment as an RNS only costs a couple of hundred quid...

If mass testing tests don't or can't pick up asymptomatic cases and if it's also on a voluntary basis, it isn't going to work. You also have to rely on the positives isolating properly. Avacta is a saliva test and so any test which requires a nasal swab isn't ours. The Liverpool test will be nasal swabs put into a microwave sized machine. I think the Govt is more concerned about take up first and foremost and being seen to be doing something. The Avacta test as and when it's available will/should make mass testing easier and catch more of those asymptomatic and if you can administer it at home there will be a better uptake

Ghia - I reckon about 30m shares have gone through as buys so far this way. Do you think Brokers bought in the Placing for clients and this is a change of ownership off book exercise and when the shares are admitted they simply go straight into the account of the new owner not the buyer...

I know it might sound like a conspiracy theory but BK & NS say they crossed on 30 Oct. Are the trades I just mentioned someone working through the BK & NS shares. At 3% they would have sold 1.5m . If they've sold out completely it would be almost 6.5m. Whatever is going on I suspect this is an ownership work thru. They are either moving the shares to another Fund of theirs or they had a buyer and agreed a price. All very strange but something is definitely taking place backdoor...

Anyone using Investing dot com...can you verify you're seeing the same. large buys and sells stated to appear last Thursday...all very strange and not happening on charts for other stocks...???!!!

And right on time masses of late trades put thru after hours....

There were lots of huge trades Thurs and Fri last week but did show up on LSE.. Clearly showing on Investing dot com 5 min vol... Wink wink..
