If the Govt is sponsoring a group of companies, which includes Avacta, secretly to develop the best LFT it possibly can and this is part of the Moonshot and/or New Roadmap to prevent further lockdowns in the UK economy and to get it up an running as fast as possible going into Spring and Summer, then doesn't it make sense Boris will be and should be the first to break the news silence. My guess is we will hear more about a New Sovereign Test developed by the UK Govt in partnership with some of the top companies and scientists in the UK/World....and only at this point will the said companies involved then be able to RNS their shareholders/the markets...I also think we may see the end of Boris fronted evening updates and the new US style News Briefings will be introduced.
Now ask yourself why is it taking 10 days to get the quarantine hotels up and running ...is there a link to using new test kits perhaps...you have to have a test before leaving or you can leave after 5 days as long as you test negative...

Morning high opening targetted to trigger a few limit orders. Sells kick and so do derampers to try and encourage more selling so that the back room guys can pick up some shares with they will then sell back into the market and the SP starts to rise again as the buys kick in.
These back room boys are are combo of MMs who make money on the spread and brokers who make money on the trade fees and spread...
The news today was excellent and the SP drop is nothing to do with its content. It was simply used by the BRBs to make a quick buck in the first couple of hours of trading...
BTW if you look at the daily charts we are definitely following the same pattern as BTC...when you look at hourly or minute charts we are not so aligned.

If they've been asked to validate against the new strains and people who have been vaccinated (in the event of a new mutation appearing which one or more vaccines are no longer effective against), then this may have thrown in a curve ball and extended the validation processes. Perhaps the Govt has wanted to see how quickly fine tuning and tweeking can be done.
Existing tests are a cheap volume based stop gap and always have been. They are not have never will be the right ones going forward.
The Govt is pinning it's reputation on their own Moonshot test and they will want to get it right and have one that out-performs anything else out there and one that will perform, this Winter, next Winter and so on.

We know the UK Govt has put together a team to develop home grown test kits...
The cost of testing for the Govt has and will continue to be huge...
So I was wondering how far reaching is this involvement.
Is there any chance they are not only financially involved in the set up costs but will they also benefit from a profit share or commission or royalty against sales particularly to the private sector and/or overseas if volumes allow or perhaps franchised sales. This would be a great way for the UK Govt to grab back some or all of their on going costs. Having left the grip of the EU and their strict rules on Govt sponsored industry (cough cough)...perhaps the UK Govt can now sponsor industry and benefit from a return on sales too..

Ghia agree re his comments on US backing...the second point for me was the word franchising when asked about talks with big Pharma...the question is how far along are those discussions and if a US Pharma has indicated they would sign a franchise deal on a positive outcome then this might have given the US authorities the confidence to support the trials. US will want home produced volume with built in fast distribution.
Now why the p3 trial in 20 countries...IMO they're for making the closing of big pharma franchise deals that much easier and quicker.
