The price jump we saw on the last RNS when study results were announced has been sold into, and the price is pretty much back to what it was before. I do not accept the valid point that results were priced in, hence the drop. This is because the results were in effect stunning. Believe the one thing that gets overlooked is that the product ip and patents suddenly became worth a great deal of money. Results similar to best immunosuppressants at a fraction of the cost without side effects. Have seen views that the product could be combined with a lower dose drug to increase effectiveness further. this certainly has great potential which big pharms may like to explore. So current sp price is not all potential, but new locked in value such as sale of the product ip, which is worth in my opinion 100M.

I'm discussing just one pillar that SBTX have, and tend to concentrate on the psoriasis study. I can think of a few things that could easily make the SP leap before then, such as a "market price deal for psoriasis forum members backed by forum administrators", coupled with comments like probable waiting list to get onto the initial 25k. However thats what might happen just to answer your question. However far more probable will the skin cream deals with Croda, with a royalty every time some of our "anti ageing" product is used. 20T of product will go into a lot of pots. So anyone of the other pillars is likely to increase interest.
However most of this is "jam tomorrow", and Mr.Market and myself want to see actual sales starting. However if this starts really in earnest prices will move quickly, hence the daily scrabble we are currently seeing as investors big and small try to gather the size of the position they want.

Really fundamental point on the article "The uncertainty is how rapidly sales can be built up." This is the key pivotal point with this company, if they nail this one we really are off to the races.
Certainly seed managed to crack a million a month, which was stunning with just utilising clever social media.
This is where Stuarts associations with the many psoriasis forums will be key. I would also advocate getting some more staff involved in this one, as its important to really get the good messages out there when they have product to sell.
Buy and sell action today pretty rounded numbers as if it was a couple of larger holders and not fresh pi's.

Hi Ted, that was the point of my message, previously you can see the regular announcements as they dropped every 1% as they are required to do.
Clearly the pattern has changed, and can only be a strategy change. Otherwise we are over a month overdue of the RNS that they are required to announce. If they had been selling at previous pace, we would know weeks ago, indeed at the previous rate of decline we would have had 2 more holdings RNS's by now.
Also price on average is higher than previously so if they wanted to offload it would have been much easier, and we would not have seen those large deals recently at full market price.
They are already on a 10 bagger, having been in since the start at 6 or 9p (cant exactly recall). So 10p either way now makes not much difference...unless of course they see some much bigger prize ahead.

Think a good weather gauge is to closely monitor what the big professional institutions are doing with SBTX and see if they have changed strategy. This does reveal a startling U turn.

Clearly the big players are not selling now. Must be deemed significant to see a major holder like Seneca change direction, undoubtedly they would have been approached by brokers to try and facilitate that tyndall buying. Clearly they are sitting on their hands, as they now know whats coming.

yes i'm surprised not to see a more positive effect on price, huge imbalance on deals reported so far.

I know Stuart stated that we full have an update on the study within 90 days that's for participants with other skin conditions other than psoriasis. That time line takes us into next month. However 9 days was the outside window.

When a large institution looks for stock they nearly always buy at a bulk purchase discount to the current price, this can be several pence. Clearly not the case here where full market price was paid for that stock, and they had to pay it.
Says to me all the large holders were contacted and none wanted to sell at any discount, very promising indeed.

large sell just got posted from today at 600K shares. Clearly a major player has been persuaded to part with some holding.
Might explain why prices have been held for a while as well.

For me I look at my stocks and think to myself...could the money work harder for me, even if it is offloading at a loss and investing elsewhere. Never love your stock and I've been guilty of it before now. Having stock tied up for xxx years in my books is a loss of 5% per year, as I could get that with a safe utility right now. So I trust the CEO's and what reports I can find.
However when it then fails to materialise as much as hoped (or not even close), I do question closely my decisions. I've been miss led by a CEO with another stock in the past , and lost the value of a decent house on it, so very wary when i see that lesson potentially repeated. I believe OPTI holders like myself from this position stand to do very well, however make no mistake if I see a better opportunity opening up, I will move for it, even if it costs me short term book losses (which can be offset).
Currently doing very well indeed, however believe it is this policy that has achieved it, because if I hadn't moved on gut feel, I certainly would have been deep in the red now. Don't always call it right, but getting better than I used to be.

I'm lucky as I pulled some OPTI initially just before COVID hit, and have purchased some SBTX stock and some others at bargain prices, so balance sheets show some excellent progress cancelling out my previous losses by listening to SOH and even worse Davidson, about the excellent sales last year, which fell below my market expectations. (like the matchbox seller, who normally sells a box a day, but manages one day to sell three). Come on we are talking about highly rated pros here..Don't try to sell that line, its carp. Buts thats the answer I received to my watered down question last year.
Still holding a decent core holding here and will probably hold them, however am overweight in SBTX currently, but you do correctly point out the significant difference between the two companies in "if sales growth in SBTX not as expected it will fall back". On this I fully agree, but its not a case of "sign the licence and let them do the marketing and selling", in those cases what do you get..in one word... TATA.
Know that already there are thousands on the waiting list there, not talking about an online shop that gets one order every two hrs or about 5 a day. These psorasis forums are highly active with members looking for products to aid them, and thats the fundamental difference, their skin conditions drive em crazy, and little on the market to aid them either, so no surprises that the product will sell like hot cakes, and I hope to be among them as well, as its really effective as studies have shown.
Then throw in forum feedback when the first 25K get treatment, and the rest will go bananas. Wish I was doing the online selling on commission, going to be easy.
As for opti, price already rock bottom and as we know sweet does have good market value and is the safer play.
I can see both doing very well, but do not believe we will see SBTX fall back like OPTI did, as timings are much faster, and product demand terrific. Stuart can see the errors made here and what went wrong. Determined not to repeat them.

Indeed, stripping out all SBTX value leaves opti worth 20p per share, and a lot of that value as cash in bank is from previously sold sbtx stock, take that out and would really be left with pennies.
Indeed some schools of thought are perhaps the golden goose was accidently sold on the cheap, leaving the long suffering shareholders who bought up to 130p nothing of huge value, but a decent loss. Little wonder SBTX features so much in the annual figs, should be first and foremost, because the rest is well below what the market expected.
Looking back I'm glad I withdrew a few hundred K in stock. However still got a substantial holding which may soon be pulled as well. Strange thing is opti stock part may soon be worth nothing, but its sbtx holding comprising all the value here.

Well I signed up as an interested party, but I wouldn't pay 2 quid, prefer to pay 1. Reason is I don't suffer from psoriasis, just the odd skin condition. I'm interested because of comments like "his complexion changed, best he's looked for years." Believe this treatment would be good for wider population as well, not just those with psoriasis, we are forgetting that on the study those with other minor ailments like dandruff saw condition cleared. By all means sell to most needy first, but I know there are plenty of others like me who would like great skin.

Think the price moved after the study results showing the strong 72% effectiveness. If results had been good..say 20-30%, price would have been £1, however seems they are now comparable with the best immunosuppressants which cost many multiples more without side effects it can easily command a better price. Stuart has already said they have thousands on the waiting lists, put everything together and its a no brainer. Profitability on these products just increased by the order of 30-140%, per customer, from previously quoted levels.

Also pretty significant that you are still seeing continued improvements as well. Guess its common-sense that if you were classed as a severe psoriasis sufferer, it might take a good few months to clear, as rawer areas initially could get infected again.
You are completely right that this is a complete game changer for your lifestyle in a much better way.

To hear your lifechanging improvements for the better really reinforces my belief that we are investing in 100% the right company. Huge improvements and really wish you all the best. Now the study has finished it would be great to see some of the improvements you describe.

Think I'm going to give up posting on this forum. Glad I sold 300k but still hold the same. Just better prospects out there now.
If we don't hear much here soon I'll continue to drift down that holding. Thought it was mainly ADVFN that held them, guess they are here now as well.
Easy to criticise, say "where's your proof" , however not many pi's, buy such chunky amounts in rounded numbers that we've seen for a while. No factual proof , but fair amount of experience. I certainly don't talk nonsense, but cant stand the small investors that try to **** off others being helpful.
