Believe you are correct TT, even inaccurate fag packet calcs a 20K litre batch will fill Millions of pots. As for royalties.
So £10 or 10p- lets say a very conservative £1 per sale or pot. Be it sold for £20 or £120
Well looking at the creams and potions the boss has 50ml is fairly common so lets go with that one, and say our product comprises a whopping tenth of that.
Also another known, we know they are producing a 20T batch ref RNS, for the potions (not 20,000 ton ....lol) This is the first big batch.
So going by that 1 ltr fills 200 pots.
1000 ltrs in a ton, so 200 X 1000 X 20(tons) = 4M pots. .... or 4million quid.
Croda are spending 5M on a purpose built production line. You only do that if you really want to churn the product out on high sales volume.
Also our launch coming up in just 22 days, for our probotic health supplement for psoraisis.
We know that its being endorsed by the mighty NPF for their 6M members, don't believe the main advertising has actually started yet, so numbers that were growing at an "alarming rate" and reported from an unofficial source as exceeding 50K are highly probable to exceed product supply at launch as the company is going for a soft launch, thought to be a max of 25K, until steady supply and sales stabilises.
I think this is the correct approach as we know the product does not ease symptoms on everyone with 70% plus on the study reporting some improvements.
so playing devils advocate I can probably can at least 30% will bail after a month or so, and I expect possibly another 20% might think the improvements they are seeing not worth what they are paying, which is different from the study but I think more realistic. So going by that, half bail out giving further opportunity for others waiting for product. That way say within say 6 months you could have a steady 25K subscribers all signed up and happy, also with an income over over 9M per annum for this product alone at 25K. Timespan in investment terms is very short indeed, so company could go into profitability before spring is out. Clearly expansion expectations not stopping there with large modern warehouse to handle robust expansion subscription plans. I grabbed another 19k myself today, due to the price currently being so attractive.
