Realtively new investors need to understand that long term holders, such as I, are 90% ish down on this. We have seen many false dawns over the years, when it seemed it was about to take off before fizzling out once more. It breeds cynicism, how could it not, and it's really not being a 'troll' for a long term holder to remain pessimistic.

Anybody who invested for the first time last week is sitting pretty, for now, and congratulations to them. However, us old pessimists will believe it when we see it. Which in my case at least would be to get anywhere near to breaking even.
