Why are the two 6,000,000 trades "unknown"?
I hope you were being sarcastic about ORR being the next GGP but you still think crypto could be a better investment?
WTFDIK apart from the need for several baskets or you can end up crucified. I have never understood crypto so I steer clear on Warren Buffett's advice. As for "Nothing but positive news and still drops" that's perfectly normal for ORR! The SP is totally disconnected from the true value and it could carry on forever which is why elonmuskinoriole's spread bets are proving to be so problematic. One solution is a share buyback - let's reduce the number of shares available so only the true believers end up as shareholders and then the herd will have to pay a lot more!
If ORR wasn't more or less guaranteed to be the next GGP I'd be tempted to warn against having too many eggs in one basket.
"A metal detectorist in Shropshire has unearthed England’s largest ever gold nugget worth £30,000 – despite turning up an hour late for the dig with a faulty metal detector."
Anyone would think the 0.50p year high should be in the rear view mirror by now but Mr Market has other ideas! Something has to give and I'm hoping it's a 200% rise from here after wonderful news. Even that only gets us to 0.75p which remains a joke.
You're the weirdo! I can't afford a dog but I'm always interested in what other shareholders will do with their winnings. Even you! Hopefully something more interesting than buying more shares! Incidentally, would-be investors in LOGP should read swizz's recent analysis which, strangely, shares my view that LOGP is a potential 50-bagger. There's a thin line between ramping other stocks and leading a horse to water - GLA! Thinks: that's double the bagger I'm expecting from ZIOC! But what would you rather bet on? A legal judgment or a hole in the ground?
I hope swizz's very erudite post has reassured you. My understanding of a binary bet is you either lose your stake or win big time! Funnily enough, before swizz's post appeared, I was extolling LOGP's potential as a 50-bagger elsewhere. Naturally, I was shot down in flames. Obviously, time is money and the case could drag on but, equally, LOGP could return to AIM with a bright future.
"The Lanstead deal was an atrocious one, truly atrocious, they were either desperate or as I have implied many times not market savvy." I'm sure the BOD did the best they could at the time and I thought it was only a bad deal while the SP remained low but apparently not! I thought a higher SP favoured ORR yet the Lanstead deal would appear to be a very heavy millstone around all our necks. After all the good news how can the SP remain so low? I'd be surprised if major miners aren't hovering over ORR with a bargain basement offer of 1.5p per share in mind. A fraction of its future worth.
Shame on you Veteran10 - I used to think of you as a friend (as far as you can have friends in cyberspace - didn't we both suffer when TWD went down the pan?). Anyway, we all want the same thing (assuming DANNYBAREY is actually a shareholder): a bumper jackpot which the current SP is not indicating will be arriving anytime soon despite being days away from the end of Q1.
"Patronising arrogant individual ,aren’t you" was posted on the LOGP board so that's a fact! Meanwhile you're very wide of the mark - haven't seen a doctor or a bus driver for over 20 years! Grow up!
I've since corrected them! The only "irritating little rat" is you but feel free to spout endless vituperole. It won't make the slightest difference to the outcome for ZIOC but may well entertain us LTHs while we're waiting.
Yes, Kutzz, you should've sold your holding @ 0.50 as should I! But we both thought it would be different this time - one day it will! I don't understand crypto so I will never invest in that commodity - much prefer to invest in a hole in the ground with a liar standing beside it!
I would've hoped by now that ORR has gone beyond being "news-driven" but maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.
They could be sitting on the biggest goldmine ever discovered yet we are where we are. Place your bets!
And the sooner ORR starts to buy back its own shares the better! Maybe Lanstead could sell some to ORR?
Utterly bonkers or a good deal for shareholders? Could ORR offer a guaranteed price to Lanstead 2 years down the road which would stop them selling now? I'm convinced a change in the finances would catapult the SP at least 200% .
I'm glad I'm causing you pain! How strange that you instantly descend as soon as I have posted! As for ramping other stocks - LOGP is a special case and I'm unlikely to benefit from the SP rocketing just before suspension but DYOR and you might agree it's a reasonable proposition in these dark days. As for me having more to say: you will just have to wait and see but I think it's definitely worth waiting for! Shame on ZIOC if they do a deal within the next 2 weeks and deprive you!
Blimey Flombo10, as my old Dad used to say: "If you have nothing pleasant to say, say nothing at all!"
By this stage in the proceedings I think everyone's positions are where they will remain - GLA!
The Market is very often an ass!
And I'm 99% sure LOGP will win their case - the fly in the ointment is the amount of compensation.
I don't quite share your analysis but I do hope " it won’t matter about today’s share price, and we will all be kicking ourselves for not betting the farm here." At the same time, I have a horrible vision of angry ex-farmers who have lost their farms... The SP is where it is because Mr Market thinks that's all ZIOC's worth despite everything that's supposed to be just over the horizon. Worst case scenario: a 20p takeover offer that the BOD recommends! I will have more to say when we get to the end of Q1 and STILL nothing has happened! Meanwhile, any LTH here must have the patience of a saint and would be interested in investing in LOGP whose shares are about to be suspended. Unusually, LOGP treat their shareholders more than fairly so if you buy before suspension your share of the company is locked in as a percentage of any compensation paid out. DYOR but I'm hoping for at least a 50-bagger!
