Great words oogle, very well said. 2022/23 cruises especially will be a huge sell out, I stick with my predictions from last week. And because this share is now based on a travel recovery, it will only get better. There is without question HUGE demand against supply, and Saga like you said with there good management are in Pole position

Just a reminder also - Saga customer’s PEAK BOOKING period is September & October, being mainly retired, so against the usual grain of January & February for the rest of the mass market. I predict a flood of bookings especially for all 2022.

I’ll take a punt, and say by mid November if not before, all Saga 2022 cruises will be sold out. This also coincides with the early release of the 2023 programme at the same time due to high demand. I’ll take a further punt and predict 25% plus of 2023 cruise programme to be booked. I can also ask my contact there nearer the time. DYOR.

I would expect in Septembers update a large growth in travel insurance premiums, with the re-start of travel. I would imagine given customer demographic and there retention rates, a large % take up Sagas’ travel policies alongside it, especially now! Be interesting to see. Might only touch the sides but a certain boost.

I believe like there Car Insurance 3 year fix success, they could be opportunities in travel insurance, albeit, much more complicated and changeable, so can’t see it.

Saga and IAG 1 week chart are bang in identical. That pretty much tells me this share is in with travel and not insurance.

The last time this happened it went from 2.50 to £4 in 4 weeks back in Feb/March

Yesterday we brought our two ships, Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure, together at sea. A special moment in our return to service. Sea trials onboard Adventure are going well… not long now until her maiden voyage.
