Humble pie - who wants a slice?

I am fully expecting a follow up RNS tomorrow or at some point this week - no way Lorna and team have not learnt from the ‘embarrassing’ mistakes (as IS put it) of the past.I expect they have been working diligently in the background and there will be some humble pie served up for many doubters. Time will tell.

I get being frustrated but you can’t say you weren’t warned about lack of comms going forward…

Sdg - whilst I agree it is binary at the moment I think an important thing to note is that due to the 26% sp decrease in the last month a failure to materialise a drill is already partially priced in, meaning that the potential upside of a good RNS likely outweighs the potential downside on a bad RNS, which was potentially not the case when sp was in the 7s. Time will tell which way it will go but I think this sp represents good ev.

Lame deramp - it has been discussed before but read the CPR for yourself and ignore these comments. It is 14% per horizon for the first 5/6 and 10% for the final horizon.

The 1m definitely a sell but the rest (250k/multiple smaller) are buys from what I see

The only time dai isn’t posting 50 mildly negative comments about he1 per day is when he takes a break to talk about other stocks.

So I have semi-regularly kept in contact with the IR team. They have always replied and now have stopped replying to questions etc.

If we consider their usual response to the rig questions being ‘we will let you know when it’s being signed’ and their response to are we on track for drilling this year being ‘we are on track for Q3 still’. If something has materially changed then these 2 generic answers are now not factually correct, and so, the logical step is to not reply to investors and release an RNS on Monday.

Obviously I expect it to be positive news but it could be either way and I think we will find out very soon.

It takes 6-8 weeks from shipping to mast up and ready to drill. Even mobbing in 4 weeks time still gets our drill in august.

Then you should have asked the company yourself sooner and might’ve had the information way before then.

They did a brief inspection of the rig previously and this is a cat 4 inspection.

The problem with investing in NHE is that in the short term your returns are entirely dependent on HE1. If we hit a duster, the nhe sp will drop and you could buy in cheaper after this point and if we hit helium, NHE will go up but not as much as HE1 so it’s a bit of a lose lose situation to invest in NHE in my opinion.

A duster at tai wouldn’t be a fatal blow or anywhere close to that for HE1. In a worst case scenario they could dilute by another ~40% at just 3p and have £9m which would be more than enough for some seismic and another drill, especially with the rig being in tz already.

Great stuff should see a nice rise this week before contract next week and mob at end of the month
