Icecream - From my calculations, it's about 0.025L of H3 per MCF of He produced. At STP, using prices of $20 million per KG (Interlune stated figure), I make that around $2700/litre, so it's about an additional $65 of H3 per MCF of He produced. I would say that is a fairly reasonable price bump if a proportion of that can be achieved (~13% premium on the price of longer term historical contract pricing). Of course the tech isn't quite there yet, but I would imagine it either makes as a) a more attractive proposition for longer term partnerships with the majors or b) makes us a more urgent target for a buyout.

Would like to know your thoughts on it - Did the company gain any flow data at all from the lower Leadville or was the downhole quality so poor they could not get flow data? If they did get flow data, why did they not release this, even if it was lower than prognosed due to downhole issues?

Looks like they kept the issues quiet that were happening with the testing until they were forced to move on to a new horizon. Disappointing for all share holders, sorry to hear it.

Why do you keep bringing up HEX? It’s completely irrelevant to QHE. I never said the He % was going to change and in previous messages I used an identical 2.76% figure for working out helium production as had been provided before.

So if you know what’s what, you agree that sproule provided estimates 400-1900mcf/day? If so, what’s the issue? If not, please provide alternative values that are out there, else you’re just being inflammatory for no reason…

Gas composition confirms helium Mosman's technical team has reviewed hard copies of data received from the former operator, Seeley Oil Company, and found reports of gas sample analyses dated December 30 1993, following an open hole drill stem test ("DST") performed at the Sagebrush-1 well in December 1993. This report states the DST gas samples contained 2.76% helium, circa 20% methane, and significant quantities of nitrogen (35%) and carbon dioxide (40%), alongside traces of other heavier hydrocarbons (3%).

Commercial flow rates The DST flowed gas to surface in the range 152-163 mcfd.

The projected are shared in the telegram chat if you're a member, else I'm unsure how to share them with you. They come directly from Sproule as far as I'm aware.

Hi Punter. Yes, I saw you saying that you were invested in QHE over on the HEX board and it reminded me to check out the stock as I had not looked at it since MSMN days, and clearly a lot has changed. I had no idea you were active over here. I have just sold an unrelated gold stock for some profit and am always keen to invest it elsewhere if I think there is value. Happy to say that I am no exploration expert, as maybe you are. If you wish to enlighten me on where I am incorrect, that would be most welcome. I have asked nothing but legitimate questions about the company and have not spread any kind of negativity at all so I'm unsure why you have your back up. Personally, the stock will be going in my watchlist and if you're correct about Sproule underestimating, then I will likely jump in. If not, I won't. Either way, I wish all holders the best.

For what it's worth, I didn't even see that you had posted on this board, and have no interest in wasting my time arguing with people on boards of stocks I don't own.

I found the answer to my main question, thanks to the telegram group, where Mike S shared a sheet that Sproule provided the estimated flow rates of 400mcf (Natural cleanup), low case (1150), Base (1500) and best (1900). On the edge of the values, I had already provided as a good figure. I will likely wait until the results of the test and take it from there. Thanks.

Hi Punter, I have no interest in disrupting. I'm asking legitimate questions about the project feasibility and have not mentioned any other stocks I am invested in, nor do I have any interest in engaging in such a conversation. Simply, if there was guidance somewhere that the company expected a flow rate of 1500+ mcf/day of raw gas at that 2.76% He , I would certainly be interested in taking a position as this would probably be the minimum value I would expect to have any economic potential. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect such statements have been made in interviews etc. which is much easier for someone invested already to provide me if it has been said than me trawling through to find it.

I did get as far as reading that they are flow testing now :D Just interested as to whether any guidance had been provided by the company, often more likely to be given in an interview than an RNS I imagine. Again, any information that could be provided would be greatly received.

Hi Punter, sure, any links to specific RNS/interviews you could send me that discuss these things would be great. Could you also provide anything you have about flow rates - I see historic flow rates are about 150mcf/day, at 2.76% He which is around 4mcf He per day. Of course $6-800 a day (assuming they do sell straight from the wellhead) is not economic, so I am assuming they are looking to acidisation etc? Did they give any kind of indication as to what flow rates they are hoping for? Would expect anything above about 1500mcf/day of raw gas could look interesting. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi all, snooping across at QHE and had a quick question - Am I correct that sagebrush has ~0.1BCF of expected recoverable He. Given that purification plants cost over $5m, could someone please provide a brief overview of what the board has said about their plans to make it economic? Sell low-grade gas mix from the wellhead or what? TIA.

Hi Punter, valid point that we will not know whether the plant had issues beforehand. Regardless, it is working now. As per the interview with CA, Bo stated that each well would be set up to initially produce from around 1500mcf of raw gas per day, at ~1-1.2% helium. The 30-40mcf He/day aligns with slightly lower than these values (more like 1100-1300mcf/day raw gas, but still within the realms of what was expected).
