Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
Interesting indeed. Proper boomer mentality. Major pullbacks bound to happen at some point to cool off but even a tiny bit of research in that space and deploying a 2-5% of one's portfolio a year ago (or even beginning of the yr ffs) would have given a few 100% return which could then easily have been trimmed and re-balanced back to under 5%. Nothing wrong in diversifying after some research and due diligence. Happy investing gents and GL to us all.
You can go through my post history and decide for yourself. Just look at the sp history and you'll see where we'd been. Happy with my holding hence the top-ups are limited to tiny sums. If you still call that ramping, not much I can do.
I like playing harmless games with MMs' shenanigans by setting limit buys for tiny sums every 0.5p below the market sp. I'll take 'em thank you very much. A lotta shares were traded in 30s and 40s. Everyone getting chance to add more in 20s. No point regretting when the FSP concludes with a banging rns.
Here's a good experiment. Throw in a grand each in BTC and ETH and check in a year. Compare the ROI with that of your best holding. Look into blockchain tech and its potential and check the flow of smart money into that space. Worth also looking into how folks been saying TSLA is overvalued since its sp was $40-50 (pre-effin-split!). Should be looking at the big picture rather than just piling one's money in the likes of AT&T, BP and GM.
my worst performing share ever in my relatively short investing journey. Down 35-75% in 3 diff platforms. A little over 1% of my portfolio. Feels oversold so hoping for some solid news update when it does land. Bottom drawer till then.
That 2.12% divi looked real nice.
