I have noticed that there is a similar game for the chinese market, often translated to english as "Devil War Record" and was curious whether Crystal Saga is the USA license of this international game, or whether it is an independently developed game. If it is a USA license for an international game, would you mind telling me whom you dealt with to come to this agreement? I ask this because a company that I am invested in called Galleon Holdings has a license for the distribution of "Devil War Record" in China and I wonder is there any connection between your company and theirs. We possess an exclusive North American publishing license for the game (acquired from the game's developer). I haven't asked about South America in a while, but last I checked they were already in negotiations. To the best of my knowledge, Galleon does not hold any licenses aside from Mainland China. We are launching our open beta tonight (and turning on the payment system) - and have high hopes for the game as well. From what Jared said in his first email, it looks like Galleon have allowed Devil War Record to appear on other chinese sites, and presumably has a revenue sharing agreement with them to do this. Further digging by posters on the advfn BB however have shown that that :- Saga of Heroes is being recognised as one of the most Innovative games around. That sign ups to the user forums alone have not doubled but may have tripled or quadrupled. That user traffic according to Alexa monitoring puts the wowan365.com site amongst the biggest sites in China for online traffic and competing head on with acknowledged,established and very valuable chinese online gaming franchises. That the portal and game licencing may be in the process of going ‘International’ with licences signed in Malaysia. This suggest some posters means that Galleons/Wowan365’s ‘Saga of Heroes’ could be a massive asset and could be about to repeat the growth cycle of the Chinese online gaming company Changyou (Nasdaq:CYOU) listed on Nasdaq with a $2bn Market Cap. " So let’s dissect the above statement from the company a bit :- The portal is Wowan365.com. It launched Sept 2010. By Jan 2011 just 3-4 months they were operating 8 non-exclusive games and one exclusive game ‘Saga of Heroes’. The portal had 2.5m registered players as at February 2011 (after 4-5 months operation) and generating revenues in excess of £200k per month (i.e. an annualised run rate of £2.4m+). They hoped to double the number of games hosted and the number of players and presumably the revenues.
