Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
The reason Cerrado Gold has dropped is it has sold the biggest potential asset in Brazil and I believe they still have debt, with its producing mine in Argentina where inflation is sky high and companies pay 30% tax for currency conversion.
MAFL will have made some money when it was listed so not a total dud.
MAFL have plenty of other exposure to the recent gold rise.
Dthe country continues to be a safe place for foreign investors.

MAFL hold roughly 2.2m shares in ASND
In recent times, the stock market has been a tumultuous place, and the TSX Venture Exchange has not been immune to the challenges. Liquidity on the TSX has hit an all-time low, and exploration companies like ASND are finding it increasingly difficult to navigate these turbulent waters.
ASND, an exploration company with approximately 173,439,492 shares in issue, has been facing its own set of challenges. The company's shares were last raised at 0.08, but currently stand at 0.055. However, despite these challenges, there are reasons to believe that ASND may be well-positioned to weather the storm.
One reason for optimism is the board's commitment to maintaining the company's reputation and completing ongoing projects. This was evidenced by the board's decision to take 270k of the last raise, a sign of confidence in the company's future prospects.
While the road ahead may be challenging, ASND's board appears to be resolute in its determination to see the company through this difficult period. MAFL would not want to over commit to this one investment as the prize is on the % held in the overall project.
In conclusion, while low liquidity on the TSX may be a cause for concern, ASND's board's commitment and confidence in the company's future could be reasons for cautious optimism.
Shaz unfortunately I am not mega rich so I cannot hold on if I need a bit of cash. I sold at NAV and after being in the stock since it was 5p I think its OK to shave a few off. The drop from 20s was a sell off by others in an illiquid stock, if the company actually gets out and sells the story the rise could be just as quick as the drop.
The mkt cap (4m) even with the sell off in junior stocks is very low when you look at the 7m call option and 15% gov possible holding coming back. I think the gov have to invest in the mine or lose it so anything MAFL offer could be better than nothing.
There was a couple of things that annoyed me, the placing after receiving £2.5m in cash, to not forward control cash into bank UK for fee's is a poor excuse. Then the quick re investment of the funds, a small divi would have rewarded shareholders, instead we was rewarded with a placing and a sharp drop in SP.
Investment companies cannot just rely on saying they will reward shareholders with the SP, as the SP could be 5p and they still get a wage so why bother going out and selling the story, yes JV is aligned but is also on a 6 fig wage.
The lack of excitement in any RNS is probably the worst I have seen in any company, there is playing by the rules then just being a scrooge - always a but if, you do not see that in other companies why MAFL.
Having a NAV update for March in July then waiting for the June NAV in December is also not a great reporting practice for keeping holders updated, especially for an investment company. Sept NAV if followed by previous years will be in 2024.
Rant yes
Overall annoyed but not selling down here. I see the value and still hold over 6% but the company needs to change how it reports and sells the story.
Looks like funding for the DLE pilot plant is secured with no dilution, adding value to the 8.5% MAC holding.
Last funding round valued Weardale Lithium at 36m
The project is specifically concerned with novel methods for the production and refinement of lithium extracted from geothermal brine resources in the context of developing an integrated and robust route from 'borehole to battery', all within the North-East region. The funding will advance feasibility studies and scale-up activities to further a battery-supply chain industrial hub and include the evaluation of the potential for WL to supply lithium to TVL for refining.

Hi I keep an eye on MOS traded it before the NFT endeavour and have a question that should put an end to some of the arguments.
An NFT is on the Blockchain easily trackable and you can sell the utility. Where are the NFTs that Heroes have released and sold apart from the Mexico world cup failure which you can see has zero liquidity on secondary mkt and did not sell out.
I cannot see anything and it seems they have mistaken the whole point of NFTs by removing the crypto and blockchain element and replaced it by a cash payment system.
Hopefully this can be answered by those who follow the project.

From RNS
if Redcorp/M&FI can secure 100% ownership of Lagoa Salgada then the Call Options are cancelled. The Call Options can be exercised on the date being 6 months after the date on which Ascendant increases its ownership of Redcorp to 80% or immediately if EDM elect to participate in the Project. If the other conditions set out in this announcement are satisfied, and if the call option was exercised, TH Crestgate's and M&FI's net carried interest in Lagoa Salgada would decrease from 20% to 5%. Further updates will be provided in due course as this progresses."
This month NAV - Sept 22

Agreed but mkt will discount that 5% until it is banked but covers 125% of the mkt cap on its own.
The kicker will be any advance on the other 15%
Must also have good ties with Sprott as involved in 2 of the financing to date.

Gabby pass looks like it was a VIP pass probably to the team as it was not announced to the followers, not put on website. Where is the NFT looks like it was a day out.
The marketing needed to make this viable in the future will be a massive expense, marketing is the main driver of any project posting to 600 people on twitter will not work. The Mexican national team was advertising Panini sticker collections not NFTs during the World cup.
As for athletes endorsing have a look at Steph Curry being sued and teh loss of his NFT collection.

Just a look into the NFT area for MOS holders I am sure the company isn't paying agent fee's to mates and associates.
The other area of the business looks a little suspect with transfers ect can anyone share any light on this
I tracked MOS before the NFT interest which now seems to be a focus of teh company.
I am sure a few are tracking this.
What is the current secondary sales mkt like how much has been traded other than the initial drops.
Is there large holders (Team)
Is the floor below mint.
Any answers is appreciated

A bit of info about one of the mines operated by Golden Sun Resources 5.5% MAFL
Bellavista Costa Rica
Approximately $30 million has been spent on exploration and feasibility studies 1985-2003; about $70 million spent on construction and development in 2003-4 (much of the equipment still on site); Golden Sun's board and shareholders have invested approximately over $8.0 million to-date.
A few more £m invested since this.
