HOWEVER in saying that, even IF their Free Cash Flow was just half what is being forecast, any dividend payment would still be in the region of 5+% (on current pricing and exchange rates) which in this economic market is pretty darn good.
so like I keep saying Q1 2021 will be key period for any SP movement and any potential DIVIDEND payment, so I've no idea why everyone is getting their knickers in a twist daily over a pretty stagnant SP.
personally I'm quite happy to switch off from the daily monitoring of the SP and sit quietly (well in profit even under placement price) in the background whilst we all await any dividend payment announcement but before we all start rubbing our hands they firstly need to deliver a PROFIT on those Canadian oil and gas sales (for any dividend to be paid) and for me the added bonus or icing on the cake for the SP will be any Farm Out.
of course high frequency traders will come and go and as always will be quite happy with their 10% titbits but I'll be staying put for any Q1 dividend announcement as by that time one would hope the post vaccine world has begun to spin again, oil prices will be stabilised around $50 or above, oil and gas sales in Canada are profitable and any Farm Out deal is closed out with a free carry which will ALL reflect in a much improved SP.
simples :-)
