Some thoughts on revenues and future announcements:
October 2024 increased by 11% to c. £72,000
November 2024 increased by 9% to c. £63,000; (intraday price for electricity £329/MWh on 5 November 2024)
December 2024 of c. £77,000, increasing by 10% £84,000… (GB intraday electricity prices reach multi-year high of over £600/MWh during December 2024 )
January 2024: estimated £200,000 based on 2 gensets running and intraday electricity prices reach multi-year high of £1,000/MWh. *
Overhaul of 3rd and final 2.7MW in process and once completed the site will have its full 8.1 MW total generation capacity in optimal production. (End of February?)
During January 2025 to date, GB intraday electricity prices reach multi-year high of £1,000/MWh mainly due to extended periods of low wind generation, which results in increased demand for and revenue of flexible power plants, such as Pyebridge, to balance the national grid and avoid blackouts.
Announcements to come:
Pyebridge has successfully qualified for an additional new T-1 and T-4 Capacity Market ("CM") contracts at the site's maximum generation capacity of c. 8.1MW during the recent CM qualification assessment window : The price auctions for the new contracts are expected to take place at the end of February 2025.
The first definitive step in the new Growth Capital Partnership with Powertree is a new project finance facility agreement with Powertree regarding MED's 7.5MW shovel-ready Hindlip site.
