To signing in my view. I work on these deals (albeit in the financials sector) - the regulatory approvals side (ie BG) will take a surprisingly long time. Will be another couple of months yet. Malcy will get his ego massaged by having the interview when in reality there will be nothing for him that’s not already out there. Potter will be smiling inside he has dragged Malcy there for nothing given that he hadn’t Been exactly pro BPC for a long time.

Exciting at this point. Initially negative when saw RNS this morning and thought here we go again with a message re SP’s remuneration. However clear SP would only agree to these changes if what is foregone is a fraction of what his share entitlement will be worth in future. To me not clear whether major will be that fussed if he sticks around or someone else manages BPC under their effective (not actual legal) control. SP can buy his own golf course at that point. Many LTH’s will be indifferent to his passing.

Fair point. What you are saying is If talks fail and major rubbishes the assets then game over, Potter is fired so why would he give up his accrued entitlements at this juncture unless he knows that’s not going to happen.

Why would you change your CEO’s package and his back entitlements if you are about to do a huge deal that will see potentially $100m of cash coming from the major. Can see a number of possibilities but why do I think they are a pre-cursor to a disappointment!

It's really pretty embarrassing looking at the cry baby / I want my mummy attitude of many who post on here. Just because you do not get your hand held metaphorically every day with official news that everything is going well you project the worst. Just read what you were told about how things were expected to run with the EWT and maybe you will understand what is going on. Suspect many that bleet negativity on here are just not cut out to invest in high risk / high reward shares and over extend themselves and have kittens every moment they look at the SP. I have a very large shareholding here and I try many means to get an edge on where we are and all I can say I is am very happy and am even adding on these irrational fear driven dips.

I was away from the board for a good few months round the end of last year and early this and so i presume someone else asked and this was answered, but for my benefit if someone could confirm if they know the answer.

Don’t live that far away from the site (at weekends at least) but looking at Google maps I can’t find exact location although I assume site is actually accessed off Horse Hill? Is this correct and what is the nearest junction? Finally, and in my books most importantly, what is the nearest pub to the site - is it the Black Horse?
