Be nice if its the new CEO buying

Well it better give a more upbeat forecast than the damp squib of the RNS. SP is lower now than this time last month despite appointment of a first rate CEO and Sparkle positive results.

Lets hope the IMC call is a lot more positive than that update which basically says-- We think everything is still going ahead but haven't got a scobby when!.

Nothing we didn't already know. Let's hope our new CEO is a tad more dynamic and gets some tangible progress.

Really looking forward to having our new CEO at work for us from next week.

He would have been made fully aware of all projects and any delays etc so no surprises there. Hope he gets the opportunity to put a forward comment in end of year results. With AGM not too far off I'm quite confident of an uplift in SP over coming weeks.

We all knew there was going to be a delay so overall not a bad result. At least it's still going ahead.

The Sparkle test results are without doubt great news. However, to me, the bigger news of the week is the appointment of our new CEO. This guy has so much to offer, the number of likes and comments on linkedin from some really high rollers shows just how well respected he is. These people posting likes will be asking questions about who is QED and what do they do and offer. Its truly the best PR we have had ever in my eyes.

QED now has all the ingredients to become a successful company and there will be many in the marine and power industries thinking this guy would not have joined a small pre revenue company like QED unless he could see the potential.

I never normally put an opinion on my posts but this time its a buy from me, would have been a strong buy if our CEO had already started.

Onwards and upward Ladies and Gentlemen.

So the big question now is how soon can a commercial deal be reached.

We look forward to advancing discussions is a bit open ended.

Just the sort of guy we needed . 30 years in the shipping industry, a confident, knowledgeable speaker who will hopefully, at las,t get things moving.

I cant see how genuine shareholders can be anything other than delighted with this appointment.

Its going to take a few days for the market to realise just how significant this is and of course he doesn't start till next month so we need to be just a lttile more patient. Q4 it is then!!

So what's people expectations re Sparkle. Assuming the results are good (here's hoping ) what next. The RNS will almost certainly then say talks will now commence re commercial supply. Now we all know how long these things take particularly with QED. Can see it being another can kicking excercise where we are waiting months if not years for a contract to be signed.

I'm normally quite cautious about these snippets of info but can't help but think this job advert is really quite significant. There's no way you would employ someone else with this job description unless you were confident.on progression in this particular area.

If QED delivered on time just once the SP would be a lot higher.

It would have been nice if Jason had been a bit more positive. Saying "if we can get these agreement signed soon" does not instil confidence. I remember in one interview he made some months ago he said " if they sign" which was a really strange statement to make.

Clearly a roll over

Going to need to be someone extra special to get this outfit moving forward. Who would want to take on that job?

Lets hope the Sparkle results are positive enough to encourage the client and other users to adopt MSAR. Could do with the results being available soonest and not have a long wait. Couldn't stomach a RNS stating results are in near final form in months from now.

Im wondering if the chemical squeeze may be the problem. If your injecting chemicals down the hole to aid the flow rate then surely this contaminates the oil making possible samples useless.

I don't take a lot of comfort from the email reply. 2 main project basically no idea when and if they will happen. Utah not mentioned at all and Sparkle is on track but we all no thats been said before.

SP has slipped since posted as well so not much of a confidence builder.
