Barclays clients hold 5.34% of QED shares so theres a sizable chunk that cant take part. I would have put in an order many times my 50:1 ratio had I been able.

The offer closes @ 16.30 tomorrow with result @ 18.30. The offer could close early if oversubscribed but can't go over £2 mill. A bit disappointed it hasn't already closed as thought there would have been massive demand.

There is of course the outside chance it will be extended if it is under subscribed by 16.30 tomorrow

Fyoz you need to let it go. I'm with Barclays and believe me well p***ed off they are not participating. Most on here will get the opportunity. The SP may well drift towards the 3p mark over the next few days, if so buy in open market. If it doesn't and moves up happy days as you have often said you top up on a regular basis so your holding must be quite substantial by now.

Not getting anywhere with Barclays though

So good to get confirmation all projects on track although small slippages in some timelines. Investment does seem a whole lot safer nowadays and hopefully over coming 18 months will produce a tidy return.

Nothing much news worthy happening in very short term but not too long to wait hopefully.

Those holding with brokers that are not participating in bookbuild need to contact them and quote the consumer duty they should offer. If enough bombard them then they may get on board

But Stocky you said funding wasn't expected yet but now you say it was expected. When other folk pointed out the SP movement was classic pre funding action you called them trolls.

I might remind you you also said no chance funding @ 4.5p . I guess you were right there!!

If your broker is taking part then there's a good chance you will get a good allocation. There's an awful lot of shareholders that can't participate.!!

Good post Mac makes me feel slightly better. Looking on brightside my purchase yesterday morning is already 20% up!

Due to this obvious unfairness to certain shareholders I would rather they had just done the ii bookbuild for say £6mill and not offered shareholders at all. That why we would be done and dusted now and can move on.

Yes i was thinking the same thing, to have some posters on here saying they got there full ask and the company had gone for 2 mill. I would be well peed off with that.

Yes I'm with Barclays and its a touch annoying. I did buy some more on opening yesterday as an insurance and may well add again depending on presentation.

I get the feeling investors are realising they aren't going to get anywhere near what they want in the retail offer (especially if their brooker isn't taking part) and are having to buy on open market before price rises too much.

Good chance of a spike after investor presentation on Monday.

Although shocked, to say the least, @ the placing price I'm glad its been done now. With hopefully, positive updates due soon the SP will soon recover and we have the security of knowing we are now fully funded.

It would have been a real kick in the nuts to take a big discounted placing, even at higher price after the Morocco, Panama and Asia news. My guess is they had to do it now incentivising the II's with the prospect of upcoming news.
