I wonder whether if we put UD2 aside in terms of expectations, that the oil flow rates themselves should justify a much higher market cap than at present....I may be comparing apples with oranges, but UKOG has more than double FRRs market cap yet their preliminary results from their Portland extended well test RNSed yesterday had a maximum flow rate of 352 barrels per day using using a 20/64" choke (36 API oil) with the company owning approx 32% interest in that zone; with 2 more oil pools to be tested. FRR have flowed rates of 960 bbls/d of light oil (41.5 API) from a single zone of T-39 before even considering the potential contribution from other zones, and with T-45 and Dino-2 due to add more to the financial bottom line too...all 100% owned by FRR. Surely this is a crazily undervalued a company for all the revenue due from the increasing volumes of oil production....? Imho Bapuk

I still think any politically sensitive RNS will come at 2pm-ish UK time so that there can be a near-simultaneous announcement from the Bahamas Gov first during their working hours ...I realise the 3rd May rns was at 7am but that’s not the same as announcing that an oil major has agreed JV terms with BPC to drill in Bahamaian waters and/other Environmental Approval RNS.... So I’d get excited about 1:59 each day as it approaches late July/ end of first 3 months exclusivity period :) Gla bapuk

Isn’t the 5.5p trade just a delayed trade showing up? Though LSE seem to think that 5.5 is the day high despite the numerous trades around noon time above 5.5p eg 11:53:33 5.58 74,000 4,129 which appears to be the true day high? IMHO Bapuk

This may not be relevant, but was reading in the news today re: Haiti’s PM resignation after rioting relating to his plans to increase fuel prices by almost 50%.... just wondering if that will be a further incentive to the Bahamas government to reform their economy by allowing oil and gas exploration to go ahead ....if you want to improve the lot of your population, do something that will hopefully improve their per capita income. BPC- right place, right time finally... imho Bapuk

Everyone knows bpc sp is worth multiples of current sp so apart from trading the small retrace/dips, most are waiting for the big news....who would dare be out in anticipation of a deal being announced any time now....it all depends “do you feel lucky punk...well do you?!” Gla Bapuk

I agree with Degsy, it’s highly unusual for a sentence that “discussions may or may not” lead to a deal being missing in today’s RNS...I think the deal is close to being announced (as in days, not weeks) hence past few days information leak and sp rise which has prompted them issuing this statement until BG has stamped their approval on the terms of the deal. It was certainly not a “speeding ticket” RNS. I wouldn’t expect a 7 am mega RNS but an intraday RNS during Bahamas working hours any day soon... I’d rather be in than out now esp with the positive hints in today’s RNS, than be actively trading this share, Imho Bapuk

...to coincide with working hours in the Bahamas so that it can be timed alongside any announcement by the BG...such politically sensitive news won’t get RNSed at 7am by the company first imho! And please don’t say that RNSes only come at 7am, it’ll be as naive as those who said that the closing sp was 5p yesterday! Gla Bapuk

The sp has not “dropped” at the close, it’s simply the LSE machine not displaying it right...just like it’s got the volume traded for the day wrong (55 mill approx) when it’s closer to 62 mil traded....it often happens with these high volume/traded stocks, the final displays/tallies don’t get reflected accurately between the different sites. Chill out , the sp will open in the 6p range where it left off today (assuming no mega RNS to influence things further)... IMHO Bapuk

Don’t worry if the LSE sp display ain’t right, look elsewhere eg iii shows the following; market open price 4.29p previous close 4.10p volume 62202536 52w lo/high 0.40p / 6.25p last trade price 6.23p bid/ask price 5.90p / 6.40p Though i thought the day high trade was 6.2475 at 16:26, am happy to take 6.25 as the high! That’s often the case but not always, rns could come any time in the day esp if wanting to time it with daytime hours in Bahamas for any simultaneous government announcement, IMHO Bapuk

Sorry for my ignorance here, but is there is to be a major announcement wrt to investment into Bahamas ( esp a politically sensitive one like oil exploration), won’t the BG have to announce it first ? Or simultaneously with BPC RNS? With the 5 hr time difference, i expect an intraday RNS therefore rather than a 7am RNS for any announcement of this magnitude... IMHO Bapuk

Hi all I did wonder if the sp has gone up with buying from t20 traders, not because of any news leaks, as the volume and size of trades is in keeping with PIs (although some with bigger pockets than mine!). As by buying BPC on t20 yesterday, that would be in time to sell with nice profit if any big news announced at the 3 month initial period of exclusivity running out ( ie first week August)... But there’ll be plenty more buyers esp institutions waiting to buy in at any price if EA/favourable deal announced.... Just my opinion, Bapuk

...with all the placings, and YA out, good news will lift the sp again in no time at all imho. The market and PIs in particular are fickle, one minute all doom and gloom, but next set of operational news and we won’t look back at 2p again .... Next stop 3p imho, Gla Bapuk

Interesting that although spread shows 3.35-3.4 with TD , I can dummy sell at 3.4p which suggests lots of buying interest and ready. for the next leg up.., IMHO Bapuk

I want to jump in tomorrow morning but trying to do as much research as possible first...have seen the broker valuation of 4.8p, and how they derived their valuation based on 0.25p/lb of copper, but they had estimated 3.27 billion lb of copper. But the rns on Friday only infers 621 million lb of copper ie 5 times less! I can see that's because this rns only covers the Main Zone of Beruang Kanan whereas the broker note estimates for the whole area? Is that right? Thanks in advance any longtermers who can shed some light, Bapuk

...is the company's own broker's target, so although sub-£10million mcap seems cheap, it would seem hard to value the company higher than their own broker (who knows the ins & outs of the company presumably) would? G'nite all Bapuk

Hi all, Am thinking of buying in on Monday, which in some ways seems frightening on the back of a 455% rise. I understand the mcap is 7 million but to get the huge resource out of the ground (with only $696000 left in the coffers at halfyear report) the company is awaiting potential partners, who are bound to take an equity stake, and/or presumably there may even be placings, though hopefully at a premium rather than discount to current sp. Overall I think buying in 4p will still early days even after "dilution" but is that why the broker target sp so low (4.8p) relative to all this potential.? Cheers Bapuk
