RE: Still high hopes3 Sep 2018 18:08
I really would prefer talking about something else however & without going through all your previous posts:
'@Chuckypowers. You realise part of the loan (millions!) has been drawn and being spent forwarding the project. It is happening. We could have final funding news within days. You know this? Surely!?'
@tomcat - the gamble with Sonora was that our JV's would turn out to be more economically attractive to mine before the LV, or we managed to sell for good value. This didn't turn out to be the case despite the hope and hype coming from certain sectors... However, despite this I'm very bullish on our JV's in Sonora - just that at this point, without BCN yet to achieve funding for the 17.5ktpa mine, never mind the expansion to 35ktpa and the 50ktpa and beyond we really need to value out the Mexilit JV, the market is (sadly) assigning pretty much zero value to it. Infinite upside though - every cloud has a lithium lining. ;-)
@Dallas - given the depth of the (majority) of the lithium in the JV next to the LV deposit, the grades would need to have been higher for the JV to be mined first. Once the grades came in, and it started to become clear that the LV was going to be mined first as that project would be more valuable, we started to buy into BCN. Surely this is all obvious now? - in hindsight! It certainly seems a fairly consistent story to me now. What pieces of history don't seem to fit for you?
