@ Obs - whatever makes you think that a TO attempt by a bunch of Minigas Arthur Daleys was ever going to be viewed favourably or considered seriously - the chess game had been sussed for what it was, the pieces scattered on the floor & Lenigas had scurried off with his tail between his legs by then.... it was & still is in my view 'farcical' & they should have known better.
@ Ivy - you don't know whether the board are up to the task of overseeing this change in direction .... you should be, we all should be they are responsible for running the company we're all invested in - there should be no doubt about their ability but there is & not just as to whether they're capable of overseeing a change in direction!!
But there we have it, from dreams of riches & 5p parties to a hugely costly (what was the unexpected cost to fund it £1.5M yes 1.5M pounds for a 15M dollar loan!!) ...... $15M loan blown, diluted further with much more to come, worth a fraction of what we were 3 years ago at a fraction of the SP...... the Market are clearly not impressed by their performance thus far.
What makes you think that will change & when will their considerable mining & financial 'experience' provide a recovery .... I say recovery as that's for any that have held here long term or bought in the last 3 years for anyone buying now cross your fingers you might just get lucky....
& people wonder why I wished they'd sat on their hands (or done the Minimum required to protect our JV interest (if that was really necessary)) & waited for Sonora to be developed .... it is just a matter of time after all isn't it providing we're still around now to enjoy it after the last few years performance.
Point me at one direct holding investment where our mining & financial expertise is showing a profit, did they do a PI & with their mining & financial 'experience' like us simply pick the wrong time, they're running an investment company & with their considerable mining & financial 'experience' they're paid to know these things ... but no they followed Lenigas's trail of failure around, Torpedoed our best asset & partner in as many ways as they conceivably could & have brought us to where we are now.
....OR.... maybe everything's running according to the Minigas & their masters plans with all of us just being their gravy train & cannon fodder pawns.
Just my opinions obviously ... now where's that couple of Billion for Sonora so I can get the fu¢£ outta here :-))
