I suspect there are many BCN shareholders who would place a lot of responsibility for BCN raising at this level on 2 of their 'cornerstone' investors selling down & out of them at a significant loss on investment & a gobby CEO of another company not being able to keep his mouth shut .....

But then that's a BCN shareholder concern eh... ....

Maybe ... but Zambia' s cost... it's been commissioned & they're indicating it'll be serving among others Sumbawanga... why wouldn't Tanesco sit back & see how it pans out?

Wonder if this has had any influence on Tanesco cooling towards a coal fired solution for power ... with all the noise on cleaning up the environment, global warming etc they may be sitting tight to see how this performs ...

Indeed ... they've taken a wage cut but at the same time managed to wangle/grab a shed load of shares at .02 that are currently worth 3/4 Times what they were owed .... not much of a loss to take a pay cut on the back of that eh !!

Would be better if they weren't being issued at .02 giving the issuees an immediate 300% profit if they so desired - what would you do?

Not to mention the 2bn to be issued tomorrow @ .02 & then of course the share for the BoD salaries they've managed to wangle in with a current 4 fold increase .... they're not worth the salary they're on & they've managed to increase it & announce a cut in salary at the same time .... LoL .... guess whose paying for it !!!

One of the problems is that they keep saying exactly the same 'positive' stuff RNS after RNS after RNS.... how many times have they said:

1) they're working on upgrades
2) they're targeting 10k a month
3) they're going to open up the North pit
4) they're 'talking' to potential customers
5) they're stockpiling the fines
6) they're talking to Tanesco

It's effectively the same RNS as they've put out for the last few years.... hope they understand the North pit better....what happens if they do open it up & find that's of no better mix than the current (high fines content) does that actually change anything ...no it just means your assets are working over a larger acreage for no better result.

When the people who piled in this morning when they saw a nav of 252M do their homework we may fall back again .... let's see ...

How nice .... almost like a nice reworking of the same stuff they said they had planned with the first tranche of the Lind CLN .... is there an echo forming ... bunch of incompetents if you ask me ... they've been bigging up announcements & making statements they've rapidly & spectacularly failed to deliver on time & time again ... can't dig up & sell coal in a country with a coal import ban ... poor quality, wrong type... forever spouting on about significant contracts with multiple customers all of which fade into the fog of time with everything else they've promised & everyone's funds..... gotta hope it's different this time eh .... well see ... £130k a year Rufus isn't even worth minimum wage in my opinion
