Just recovering from last night's celebrations after what was quite possibly (IMO) one of the closest & most exciting finishes to any sporting event I've ever watched.... well done England on winning the one day CWC ... from biting nails to chewing the pillow (not for that reason MB) to absolute joy.

...easy to say when the MCAP has been placed in the trash can by the actions & performance of the BoD past & present ....I'd be much more impressed if that was the case when our MCAP was £60-70M with an SP of 1.7p instead of £11M with an SP of less than .11 ... with more debt (our % of the $49M assigned to Amapa New co & possibly a loan to progress it anyway), placings (possibly to fund Amapa & of course the old favourite 'working capital' to pay their salary so they can buy ever cheaper shares) & share issues (to progres the (again stalled?!?) Argentine & Oz assets.

Sell Sonora for £100M +......pleeeease NOW while it would still make a difference & before even that is just enough to keep the Minigas gravy train rolling.

... I agree ...it'd be nice to get something back here after all the waiting & hoping.

Gotta say I'd pretty much given up after Mannas & the fraud blah blah & whilst we still seem to have a dwindling pot maybe this could drag a little back - who knows.... for the life of me it's been such a long, slow & dwindling road I honestly can't remember how much I'm down here LoL !!

.... who knows it's ASX not AIM - can't imagine it being that different though..... if traders consider it preparation to do further placings probably... Lenigas served them well eh... so maybe they're trying to sort any mess & uncertainty he left behind out any comparisons with any of the other Co's he's been involved with ... just a thought...LoL

.....looks to me like it's just a summary of a 25/1 share consolidation, the impact & timeframes

.... they also need to settle the US$49M debt the 'New co' will be saddled with 'described as the debt project' immediately this is all passed as fit to go by the JR Board.

.... might only take one platform to kick start the rest .... it won't help whilst companies are dual listed on both platforms but if companies start moving over to NEX & off AIM because they can't then be shorted AIM might have to follow suit & ban it too or risk losing their bread & butter....

Like you though I'm sceptical it'll happen but it'd be great if it did - especially if in the process of moving entirely to NEX it forced the closure of all shorts in place.

..... I think you might be underestimating the BoD's proclivity to create debt &/or make further placings.... but I'm hoping (as that's all I can do) that the sale of Sonora will make all that unnecessary & release me instead.

I would also hope the Minigases have learnt a lesson from the disastrous ( my opinion) CLN they organised & agreed to previously & if they do use that method they stick to the amount required to do the job, with someone a bit more reputable, reliable & trustworthy (my opinion) than the last mob & under better terms with less costs attached to it.... however it seems to me they like issuing shares like confetti (you can't build a company from bottletops rings in my ears) a la NPD Gobbygas (my opinion) style so another placing is probably on the way.....

However my hope would be & still is they sell the Sonora JV's for £100M & I'm outta here.

Agreed MB ... I think the 'debt project' referred to is the $49M assigned to the New Co & would imagine there is a repayment schedule within the documents submitted to the JR authorities for consideration as part of the approval process..... I can see it being a while before any 'income' is actually taken out & placed into the partners bank accounts.
