When I say "will be" that is future tense, "is" would be present tense, "was", past tense. Hope that grammar lesson is clear. So, just to be clear again, after the impact of significant marketing spend has enhanced consumer awareness of the PB brand and model, which will take time as it did in the U.K.,and vendors realize that they have a low-cost alternative to the exhorbitant fees charged in by US realtors, there should be a gradual ramp up of new instructions. Aus and US are totally different markets so don't assume that failure or success for that matter in one can translate to another. Important lessons can be gleaned in overseas markets so often companies embarking on overseas expansion will start small and learn those lessons before making more significant investments in bigger markets which is good management practice. Well seadoc get ready for tough day again today. I sense that the price will rise again on opening as the futures are looking good. As I have said more times than I care to remember I have no problem with the act of going short as it helps liquidity and it aids price discovery above all else. I occasionally open shorts but don'tt like spreadbetting that much as too easy to get stopped out on sharp price movements. What I find intelersble however is the creation of unfounded market rumours by those working with short funds which can seriously damage the prospects of a company already in a difficult situation. I believe in growth and employment and invest as a positive act hoping that businesses can thrive, grow employee base and distribute returns to staff and shareholders. I take no pleasure in seeing companies fail that could survive if they are given a chance primarily to avoid thousands losing their jobs. Nowadays too many people think only about making a few quid at the expense of others misery. What a sad way to exist. Let's see how your spreadbetting looks in a few weeks time.

Seadoc - I am glad you stick to things you know about, that will help me sleep better. You get different types on these boards which is no bad thing but tend to make people like me circumspect after 30+ years trading and investing. Seen it all one might say! You get shareholders who share thoughts, ideas, information, ask questions, give opinions etc. You also get people who work for long and short hedge funds who are paid and who write whatever nonsense comes into their little heads in order to benefit their master or indeed their own position. So, when new posters come on and make pronouncements that this share will " fall through the floor", as a shareholder I am not going to sit back and do nothing - right. So people like you who put their little spread bets on in the hope that the company might fail are not investors but opportunists which is fair enough as long as lies and mistruths are not spouted to help your position. Also, not sure of your background or experience but it is unlikely ( not impossible) that a rights issue will be used here as the share price has dropped too far. Finally, please explain the comment "Emerald do not expect to get thier money back". I can't wait to hear why you think this!!

Yes indeed this is a traders dream as it rallies up to �5 then back down to �3.80 and then back up again. I have just bough another block under �4 so quite happy. There are resident derampers here, some existing or ex-estate agents in denial about the future which I can understand up to a point but life moves on and those stuck in the past are usuallly bitter and twisted unless they wise up and move on. Making an impact in the US will be transformative. Aus is small fry so any downturn there is irrelevant.

I think we will see more new posters here working hard to help their short positions or others short positions. They will say whatever they can to spook existing shareholders to sell. If you are a shareholder why would you make up scare stories? You wouldn't, if you have doubts as a shareholder you say nothing and then sell. Try and ignore these fools. I see a strong open today.

Juliok365- your first post here and it is so clear you don't understand how markets work or how Banks operate. Suggest you stick to things you know something about otherwise you will lose money - fool!

Makes a nice change to see positive press articles which will result in a significant jump tomorrow. If the Banks are selling the debt at a heavy discount on the secondary market that is their way of capping their exposure to the level that they have provisioned, probably. Those who buy the debt can see an upside and at this price there will be savvy investors like Emerald and others who will believe that this is not another Carillion because it is not and will probably make a lot of money. I will be adding tomorrow am and suggest that you keep an eye on big buy trades which could be short covering.

Hi Coop - there are lots of imponderables when raising finance as you may know. Sometimes it is preferable to raise debt finance if you are confident that you will receive favourable terms, you are confident that you will be in a position to repay that debt finance reasonably quickly and the debt finance avoids diluting existing holders amongst other reasons. Sometimes, if the prospects are attractive and interest is strong , institutions may be content to support at levels which allow modest dilution and the optimum structure may be a mix of equity and debt finance based on the timeline for cash generation and appetitive for equity. We won't know what is going on in the background here but let's hope the fact that we have some heavyweight investors on the share register already who will have done extensive due diligence that will help to attract others. Fingers crossed we will hear reasonably soon as Secker will feel that he wants to replace the Chinese outfit pretty quickly as a first step and then others too hopefully.

Yes it is difficult with a share like this as people won't hang around for value to out as there have been so many delays and false starts in the past. Thing is that news could come out at any time so notwithstanding the day to day frustration I remain optimistic that this will eventually come good.

Most of them do not understand the markets, certainly have an agenda paid or unpaid, are usually quite inexperienced and rarely post on more than 1 share as they have multiple ID's. LSE does very little to monitor so I tend to just post when someone irritates me which is not how this is meant to work. Regardless, many have said it already that this could move up strongly as positive news is issued which reaffirms that IRV has financial backing and the new top team can stop looking over their shoulder at the financial press who want them to fail so they have more to write about! Says little about our press but there we go. I have been in here then out over last year and see potential value but have been cautious going in with a sizeable stake at this time unlike our new friend who is betting his life savings on IRV failing.

Interesting that in an earlier post you bragged about putting your house or life savings on a short position here yet in your last post you talk about a long held short position!! So, let's get it right you are such a smart individual you opened a short a long time ago but now with the price significantly lower you would put your house on the line? Do you really know what you are saying? How much experience do you have? Very few posts and all on IRV. Always sceptical about posters like you who want to tell everyone how wonderful your trading skills are then disappear into the ether in a heartbeat! If I thought you were genuine I would want to say, stop, think and for goodness sake raid your piggyback yes for a short term punt but don't sell your caravan it just ain't worth the risk. That kind of move should be saved for a once in a lifetime dead cert and not here not now.

I am afraid I am not in the camp that JLP management knew all along that the licence would be revoked after the JV had been announced to the market with the ************** etc. Far too high a risk to try and play cute with African governments which everyone knows are wholly unpredictable. This simply does not wash with me. Also, our share price is not doing too well either since the JV was announced so my sense is that this situation has created a delay, yes but provided that the appeal is successful and a positive decision is made in our favour, without undue delay, we can crack on and start to do what we are good at. Share prices don't do well in circumstances like this so let's get moving Leon.

BMR has a weak CEO who took over from a crooked CEO. The current incumbent has destroyed value and failed numerous times over many years to focus on processing the dumps which has always been the potential. The ZG revoked the licence because they could see inactivity and failed promises to process them. At some point they had to act and now we must seize the opportunity and make this happen. LC is under pressure here as his reputation is on the line with this transaction and he has not covered himself in glory with the licence hiccup. No point in blaming Borrelli as the onus was on LC to ensure licences were up to date and enduring!! He will be determined to ensure that he executes on point if the licence is restored. That is why LC is taking the lead as Borrelli has been found wanting and who would want to rely upon him to negotiate the appeal - not me and not Leon!! Patience is always required with AIm companies and this is no exception but this blip will only help to expedite closer control over the JV going forward.

Who knows what goes on behind the scenes and we will never know. What is pleasing here however is that despite having to 'OUT' some Mickey Mouse Chinese investment fund today there is a lot of support for this company which is a reflection of the potential. I have a 5-year �5 target so these short term blips don't concern me greatly but I confess that it is irritating to have to deal with amateurs.

F15jcm - What makes you think that anyone cares about small fry like like you? Experienced and serious investor/traders know that this could go either way at any time of the day in the short term but likely to survive albeit bruised, but hopefully a better company for it. Funny that you don't brag about the times when you are stopped out or get on the wrong side of the trade and lose money. This will recover strongly when the Banks finally agree to new terms in my opinion. If I was CEO/CFO I would be keen to put an end to the constant speculation and naysayers asap so I suggest to put a tight stop on your �50 speadbet.

Some decent buying here over the last couple of days on no news which is always a good sign that those ' in the know' are buying at good levels. Potential here is significant and BGO is still below the radar in my view as the cumulative impact of recent alliances in large markets helps to grow volume as consumer advocacy gains momentum and brand recognition develops further.
