No denying that the UK market, in particular, is taking a bit of a pounding largely down to Brexit uncertainty. Important to remember that Brexit was always going to be incredibly difficult to make headway in the early stages as it is not in the interest of the EC to make it easy as others would be lining up to get out!! Also, with so many in the media and political worlds doing their best to talk it down it is no surprise that our economic growth forecasts are looking a little sad. My own sense is that as we start to make headway, as we did todaywith the transition timetable, and we make progress in other areas or migration and NI border the tide will turn and this will help to restore investor confidence in the U.K. Global economic growth is still very robust and the QE tap is still on for now so we have to weather the storm for now. This share is attractive at this level and with 2018 and most of 2019 forecasts hard wired I think the price can recover to previous highs fairly swiftly as investor confidence returns. I continue to buy on the dips as a long term hold.

Tough day - big drop on no news which does not surprise me as some bought last week expecting news soon and when it does not materialise, often the sellers return and down we go. A traders paradise this share with wild swings becoming the norm until some certainty can be restored by the Board. On we go.....

I am with Indrid here. Nice to see a big uplift in volume and MSN1's great post this morning suggests that others have awakened to what may happen here in the next few months. COC have added to their holding in the past week and one assumes that they are insiders so cannot buy if they were aware of an offer from an external party. They simply would not risk it just to make a few shackles more when they will cash in on their significant holding in any event. If someone is considering making an offer at this stage and before drilling the buying could be from folks aware of the buyers intentions as that happens all the time. Whatever it is let's hope that interest continues into next week as we do need some sustained activity here after such a long time of inactivity.

Gradually increasing my position here helped by the dip after a strong opening. Over 10m shares needs to be bought to cover outstanding short positions which is being albeit gradually. Now, even if we assume some some of the shorts were opened at �1.50 or �2 as it dropped sharply last year , they may take a little longer to close, but I remain hopeful that we will see a big spike when news is released which the longs are waiting unless sellers help them out. Also, I suspect that some market makers are increasing their float to offload to the shorts at higher prices if they themselves believe that positive news re financing will come in the short term.

As 1msn rightly highlights, any offer by COC needs to be accepted by 75% of the remaining 70% on the share register. Most offers are made at a premium north of 30% and often a lot higher. As has also been pointed out, our leader is incented to cash in mid-40's so I have no interest in accepting any offer short of 50p. Notwithstanding this, COC will have no interest whatsoever in offering as they are investors not owners, unless they could back to back which is probably too difficult. COC want as many shares as they can without making an offer so there can optimism upside on sale, eventually, or get best return from dividends if they stick around for longer. Anyone able to track where the Topaz drilling rig is?

Should Fate prove to be accurate with his comments and I have no reason to doubt otherwise it will not take too long for short funds to establish details on funding and whether there will be no dilution etc. There are still very large short positions here which I suspect have been trimmed again today but the large covering has yet to be done and that is when we will see the really large moves to the upside.

Looks to me as though the short hedgies have taken increased positions today looking at some large sells so perhaps another 0.5% or more taking the overall position beyond 9% again ( for those with >0.5% positions) subject to what we see reported from Thursday's squeeze. This is becoming a bit of a battle now. We have large short positions holding firm which continue to push back despite the sharp rise this week, we have some interesting holdings notices which could suggest new interest from bullish long funds and some broker upgrades which suggest a healthy upside from current levels. We have fresh interest in the secondary debt market which could mean that some with deep pockets see a value recovery play by buying discounted debt but at the same time we have yet to hear about the new financing terms which, if on decent terms will draw an important line in the sand in terms of the bottom for the share price with the prospect of big moves to the upside in short periods of time as buying stock in the open market becomes more challenging. We have new IFRS rules for contract revenue recognition coming in from this year and we have yet to hear the full extent of proposals from the restructuring guru hired by Debbie to assist further with debt reduction ( i.e. further divestments) to ease pressure on refinancing on top of the efficient savings already reported. Finely poised here but I continue to feel that there is a greater chance of IRV coming through this smaller yet in better shape than not so I have increased my investment a little more today on the drop. Press and short funds will be working hard to find out more so will be scouring the news feeds over the weekend to see if other stories emerge. Fascinating times and for the sake of both employees and investors I sincerely hope that the longs win this dramatic tug of war!

Been in the air most of the day so missed the excitement but so pleased to see the start of a recovery in share price momentum after a very difficult few months. Not had a chance to study trades to see if volume was up to see if there were signs of short covering but we could see some RNS's over the coming days. Most of the fools who bombarded this Board over the last couple of weeks are on filter for me but suspect that they have not shown their face today as they have failed their masters miserably. Looking forward to tomorrow and it would be nice for the price rise to endure into the weekend and with some positive press this could help sustain the rise into next week.

Lots of ALGO trades on PURP which moves the price up and down very quickly. Buys shown on here are twice the volume of sells so far today and looking at the larger trades pretty this is pretty accurate so whilst the drop is irritating for those long, should not be a concern on no news.

Difficult to know exactly but we have seen pretty big swings every month since I have been invested here. Just looked at short positions under 0.5% which is still low so no evidence that is the reason but clearly there has been consistent selling. A fair amount of asset reallocation going on at the moment and higher PE stocks often jump around quite a lot. This is a strategic portfolio stock for my core holding ( long term hold) and I trade a float given volatility. FTSE looking sad too which is having an impact.

It Is very clear that some people have invested a lot of money on IRV following CLLN such is their focus in life and therefore are calling on their 'troops' to swamp the chat rooms will all sorts of doom scenarios hence we see new posters making up stories like this latest clown. The management team have been working around the clock to rationalise and professionalise the business to avoid the contract pricing mess of the past and to develop some breathing space in the shape of new financing terms which give the company an opportunity to prove to lenders that they can generate sufficient free cash flow to finance the debt and reinvest in the business going forward. My filter list is at breaking point these days as another one joins the long list!!

Tiny volume and 5% drop means market makers are bored and want more activity. Spread is a pain at 5% otherwise I would happily buy more! Come on guys narrow the spread for goodness sake.

This company has just posted excellent numbers for 2017 with a big cash pile and strong order book. Not sure that there is enough supporters of the stock yet though. The management team need to invest in a proper IR team to encourage more investment in what is a good story these days.

Moneyhawk - NOMAD approval is required for certain decisions and announcements so there could be slight delays but given that Beaufort's demise has hit a multitude of companies there may or may not be provision with the regulator to ensure that company activity does not grind to a halt. I imagine that there are many busy brokers taking on a long list of new clients so perhaps some latitude will be given in exceptional circumstances. I personally don't see this as any form of impediment and expect an RNS within a few days announcing a new broker.

Thanks you have both confirmed exactly what I expected. Clearly you don't see anything wrong In talking up the company when you're in and talking down when you're out. Important that people realize what your agenda is however. I posted first here around 6 months ago, perhaps, but don't keep count and nowhere near as prolific as you both as I have 20-25 other investments at any one time to keep an eye on. It will be become apparent if/when you next buy shares as the slant on your posts will speak for themselves. Time for dinner where I am..... .keep these negative posts coming.

Do you own shares here and if so why are you constantly talking the share down? Your mate cyberduck admits he has no shares here either. Odd don't you think that the top 2 negative posters don't own shares in PB? I appreciate that balance is important but constant negativity is not balance is it? Make your own mind up folks.

I have filtered these clowns as they have an agenda to spoil this Board. Sooner others do so the better as they will continue to post mistruths until the share price rises which will hopefully not be too far away with revised financing agreements. I have reported the posts which are lies.

Cyberduck. Thanks I do my own research each and every time I invest so around 38 years and counting which I why I invested here funnily enough over a year ago. I must confess that for most of that time I have failed to have much respect for the old estate agent model but was far too busy with other business interests to do anything about it. Despite what some will say, this is an unregulated market and one in which virtually anyone could set up an agency and charge a big fat fee so when disrupters enter and shake it up there is a lot of kicking and screaming from current incumbents trying to protect their pensions but over time ( who knows how long) the PB/Yopa/eMoov and many others will be the new norm. That is why people invest here but as with all disrupters it will rise too quickly for some, hedge funds will short a bit then as it gains market traction it's success will reflect in financials and hey presto it will create new highs. Make sure you don't talk yourself out of investing in here again as I assume you maintain an interest to time your re-entry point rather than to save people from themselves although I have seen that before as well!

Cyber duck - When I say "will be" that is future tense, "is" would be present tense, "was", past tense. Hope that grammar lesson is clear. So, just to be clear again, after the impact of significant marketing spend has enhanced consumer awareness of the PB brand and model, which will take time as it did in the U.K.,and vendors realize that they have a low-cost alternative to the exhorbitant fees charged in by US realtors, there should be a gradual ramp up of new instructions. Aus and US are totally different markets so don't assume that failure or success for that matter in one can translate to another. Important lessons can be gleaned in overseas markets so often companies embarking on overseas expansion will start small and learn those lessons before making more significant investments in bigger markets which is good management practice. I assume that given the time you spend on this chat room you are heavily invested here and therefore look forward to reading your positive posts going forward about this exciting company which has a great future ahead.
