Yes it is irritating as it hit 90p less than 2 weeks ago. Part of the roller coaster which is AIM and raising money though as most will recognise. Don't forget that it is small PI's who are selling very small amounts and market makers making their corn on the back on uncertainty. Don't forget that this Placing will have been decided on after much discussion with institutions with positive feedback and commitment given. I will be very surprised if the price is not back to mid-70's a short while after the next RNS announcing the completion of the Pacing. Either way I am in for the long haul so will roll with the punches.

There are market makers who will know exactly what is going on with the placing in terms of average price, likely completion and who have acquired the shares. This will influence them in their machinations until we have a formal announcement from the company. For example if it is going well ( probably) they may want to scoop up shares from the weak, perhaps with a strategy to sell them back, or at least a smaller number to the same individuals when the announcement is made allowing proper price discovery rather than this charade.

Sain - you may or may not recall that I used the exact phrase ( do not have time to find it) that ' the residential property sector is largely unregulated' and your response was that it is highly regulated!!! Yet, you now post a direct quote from the RICS website which confirms what I have been saying for decades and more recently on here to make an important point about this sector. This confirms to me and no doubt the few other folks who pop in here that you are full of contradictions and not to be trusted. You will make statements to suit your current position. Shame on you!

Perky - the fit for growth programme will have assumed a certain number of redundancies, the cost thereof and importantly the annualised cost saving which will be embedded in forecasts but you probably knew that. In other words they are planned and will not adversely impact on what the copayment had put out there.

Now, some traders may have been selling which is of course their prerogative with a view to coming back in here during August in case other news drops in the meantime. Dave - The company will use placing proceeds and funding lines already agreed to progress the build to an advanced level and have announced in the RNS yesterday that more funding ( debt or strategic) will be identified by early 2019 by which time Oman and Hanwa commitments can be crystallised to finish the plant.

Very unusual pricing indeed. I bought more yesterday pm in 3 blocks yet none of the trades appeared. Best to simply focus on the shares you have acquired and watch the progression as updates come in showing work in progress on the ground. I believe that other strategic investors will be announced in due course given interest to date and further exposure when the plant build commences meaning that there will be less debt required in 2019 to complete the funding circle.

The market will slowly and positively digest the fact that a great mix of funding has been negotiate deals by Secker and assuming the placing is completed quickly at a decent level, the share price should start to recover in the knowledge that no more dilution is likely for the foreseeable future. Offer currently 74.8p so perhaps this will be average placing price?

The fit for growth programme is underway, new processes have been established to review contract acquisition and pricing, turnaround specialists have no doubt identified what parts of the business should be retained and which parts should be sold off, the government has crawled all over the company to make sure that it will survive going forward to avoid another Carillion, new financing has been agreed allowing the company a few years to right the ship. A heck of a lot has been going on not to mention the unfortunate timing of the FCA investigation after we all thought the dust had settled. You could not make it up. The Board are probably very irritated at the continued short pressure but have decided to keep their powder dry and instead of drip feed announcements every few weeks are hard at work delivering what they said they would with the intention of giving the shorts a headache in early August or at a time they least expect. So, whilst a little frustrated too that the price is underwhelming I trust that a competent new management team are hard at it and in the fullness of time will inform us, including potentially new institutional investors why this is a good value investment.

Gents - I called out Sain@ last year as It was clear to me that he has an axe to grind. He is, by admission, an ex-estate agent who I sense is in denial that the profession that he chose has changed for the worse in so far as making a fast buck in concerned and it is no longer the gravy train it once used to be for the old guard. For too long, unqualified numpties have charged ridiculous fees for uploading details onto a portal!! The new model will replace the old, tired high street model in its entirety in a few years time. Of course, there are properly qualified chartered surveyors who also work as estate agents, out there who are experienced, professional, knowledgable and add value but they are exceptions in my experience. So, indeed he comes across as a rather sad and yes, bitter, individual who for whatever reason spends a lot of time here trying to save anyone from their own shortcomings. I look in every few weeks and I see the same old bashing from sain@ and I am sure many others just ignore this board nowadays as I do, looking forward to the new model playing out with some success in time. Anyway, will look on next month and will no doubt see the same old nonsense from him - get a life!

Crown will not accept any offer which does not allow them a good payday having endured difficult times over the past couple of years so I have few concerns about selling at an undervalue. I agree that it appears that the price is being held at this level but until we receive news which confirms what we have been sitting on for some considerable time this will continue to stick here as holders will be reluctant to sell at this late stage and the buyers are all in apart from the traders of course who will appear on news seeking their 10%. Keep an eye on volume as news will leak out ahead of a formal announcement given the location and the fact that there are many who have fingers in this pie so keeping the lid on will be virtually impossible IMO.

Skippy - performance at this JV has been mixed so feel it is the right strategic decision and whilst the proceeds and how these will be paid appear a little underwhelming at first blush the company will have reduced capex going forward which will help in addition to the RI proceeds with debt reduction going forward. I remain here, ever hopeful that we will see a turnaround after a very tough 18 months. We are into a new financial year for the company now. I think that they continued to assume in forecasts that the missing parcel will be returned allowing them to attribute in 2018 accounts but clearly this has not happened otherwise we would have seen an RNS. As I have said many times before they have messed up the handling of this missing parcel and should have written it off and addressed the issue head on with theTanzanian govt yet still no explanation forthcoming. I only hope that in the annual accounts they finally see sense and draw a line under that shambles, address the Williamson mine issue ( sell their 75% stake) and start to produce stronger operational results.

Indeed that is a snapshot of what happens day in, day out on markets everywhere. Some people trade on margin so are under pressure for immediate returns or onto next big thing. Those who buy in ISA's and SIPP's often have a different time horizon and perspective. Takes all sorts to make a market though I suppose. This almost reached £1.50 in Jan following that exceptional 3-week period post-Xmas but ever since Nextview walked away ( lesson for Board which I suspect won't be forgotten) price has stumbled. Position now is much better than January following debt announcement but market waiting for equity announcement before letting this go. So, next news could be days, weeks or months away but from my perspective that is academic as the potential is very attractive indeed. Don't pay too much attention to those who infer that new Socialist government in Mexico may have negative implications for Sonora as it is far too early to reach these conclusions and Mexico needs inward investment especially from non-US companies so I believe will find an accommodation for foreign business to attract more and to encourage further investment.

Demps, I am very surprised at the current level too and would prefer to see the price around £1 again but in other shares in which I am invested I am equally surprised at how high the price is, so try and take the rough with the smooth in the markets unless there is new news which unquestionably will result in a momentum shift one way or another. No guarantees in life other than death and taxes but barring any further banana skins here this will be a sound recovery play in my view so if you can, it may pay to sit patiently and watch Debbie and the team earn their remuneration.

It seems to me that there are quite a few new posters who appear to be fairly inexperienced investors, may not have properly understand the risks when making the purchase decision and are now panicking as the price at this moment in time is pretty depressed. I have no idea what your investment strategy was i.e., small or large % of investable wealth, time horizon, risk appetite, investment vehicle etc. it is well known and has been very well publiced that IRV has a healthy interest from short hedge funds, that the sector has been out of favour for reasons most will understand, that debt levels were high relative to most measures prior to new financing and that multiple teams of consultants not to mention management have been crawling over the business for months on end to kitchen sink the financials. So, knowing all of the above I assume that you did not expect an entirely stress-free ride to returning a healthy profit as the markets rarely work that way, although sometimes do. I, for the sake of balance feel fairly relaxed as I am content to wait for a couple of years for a good return on my investment reflecting the risk and I have a fairly high risk appetite, invest 2% of my portfolio here as a value opportunity, invest within ISA's and SIPP's ( no CGT ) and don't require access to the cash in the foreseeable future. My point being that this just may be the wrong company to invest in if people expect to make a quick buck risk free so perhaps try and recoup losses elsewhere and/or review investment strategy or switch off your machine and wait for management to do what they are paid to do. To be fair to the cheerleader of this company he may well have been in direct contact with, some may say, the most incompetent CEO on AIM ( based on underperformance on almost every measure) but surely no-one made any investment decision based on his summary of these discussions, did they? I certainly hope not. If you did then if BMR folds, which is now highly likely, you may well feel rather irked. Nomads rarely resign without a carefully orchestrated handover and new Nomads will want to know exactly why the old Nomad resigned to avoid getting their own hands dirty. If, as a Nomad, you were in advanced discussions with AB would you agree to act without some firm indication that the company will survive as a public company for more than a few weeks? I thought not. In my own experience, most smart investors who do have a direct line with quoted company CEO's avoid making those conversations public for reasons most will understand. Also, in my experience most of those posters who do actively publicize such conversations are doing so with a clear agenda or are incredibly gullible/naive. For my part I invested many years ago in a great story which has been butchered by successive management failings and I will lose a lot but I expected this outcome some months ago, so no longer a surprise. High quality CEO's on AIM are fairly rare creatures which may not be such a surprise given that such companies are often small and growing but there are a few and my own investment error here was focusing too much on the asset and not enough on the talent required to exploit the asset. Lesson learned - you win some, you lose some. If we do a Houdini and survive as a listed entity I will be happily take it but can't see it. Pity.

What a sad view you have of this great country and the companies and people within it. Amazing that you invest in any British companies whose employees in the main will have been raised, schooled and trained here. Appears that you should consider moving to one of the other 27 EU countries very soon, the majority of which struggle to stand on their economically without subsidy by U.K., France and Germany. No more hand-outs from U.K. after we escape thankfully so we can invest more in making our economy including companies and people more prosperous. No more from me as it is off-topic and I sense your understanding of the key issues are somewhat limited.

The EU withdrawal Bill has received Royal Assemt so all those who continue to deny that we are leaving the farce which is the EU best get used to it. Suggest you don't believe what you read in the press most of whom are anti-Brexit. L&G have a very able CEO and are a very sound business with ample free cash flow so for income investors this business will comfortably grow dividends for the foreseeable future which will underpin the share price over time whatever these politicians do. I have no time for politicians per se but one has to accept they have a role in a democracy and at least we can vote them either in or out which we cannot do with unaccountable EU bureaucrats.

Always good to hear that your CEO is well regarded and over the year in which I have been invested I like what I see. There are some buts however. In my view the depressed price of PGM, operational delays leading to missing processing targets and the due diligence mess with the licence at Kabwe has together caused us a lot of pain d destroyed value short term hopefully. Now, if Leon is as competent and straight as he appears he will sorely want to hit future revenue targets at existing and new projects but he will also have to deliver on the timescales at Kabwe to satisfy any conditionality set by the ZG. Only when he executes properly returning the share price to levels north of 5p can he start to expect some interest from bigger, well established suitors but a lot to do before then. Talk is cheap time to start bringing home the bacon.
