You may well be right Alaric but what about the next one and the next one creating ongoing doubt and negativity? In my own experience if you simply ignore them hoping that they will eventually disappear you may well find when they do not that has an adverse effect on sentiment. I prefer to address issues head on personally but Tosca and our CEO have a lot riding on this so are fully motivated to deliver value here. Alaric - yes it may be that the company have decided to simply wait now until end Sept to see if papers will be served. Given the multiple attempts to bash the share price this year and without regular communication from the company there is the possibility that the price will drift further. Of course this means that further shares can be added at an attractive level but I would prefer the directors to engage more regularly with shareholders. I fully recognise that Tosca will be pulling the strings and they will be fully aware of how things are going so perhaps with their knowledge they are relaxed but I sense that they must feel that this noise is like a persistent wasp buzzing in their ear that won't go away and needs to be swatted!!

Plumbus - no that is incorrect as the UK Takeover Code would continue to apply to an unlisted plc. Rule 9 would apply should JLP buy through 30% requiring a mandatory offer to the remaining shareholders. I do not expect JLP to want to acquire the assets and liabilities of BMR and indeed there is no need to as they will share the ownership of the JV with BMR which owns the licence to the tailings at Kabwe as you know, all other assets in Portugal etc are virtually worthless. All IMHO.

Bring - I am keen to know why you think that " it looks likely that BMR will list on NEX". Not a trick or loaded question. I appreciate that may be desired by AB and I also appreciate that Leon and Colin appear to be keen to support AB and indeed it may help us in realising value for our shares in a liquid market. I read the situation that it is more 'hope' rather than 'likely' at this point - no? Also, I wonder if AIM were concerned about the Blue Square shenanigans and censured WHI privately but were sufficiently alarmed at what may have been going on with the licence that they took the opportunity to kick BMR off AIM despite a new NOMAD being ready to act as it was an ideal time for them to flex their muscles. All speculation at this point in time of course.

Bring - I don't know you or anyone else on here I simply react to stuff which I read when I am invested and if I don't think it is right I will get involved and support or challenge as I think is appropriate especially if I feel that posters are attempting to influence or spin in a way I feel is misleading. AB is of course the one who has failed us all and instead of using the correct forms of formal communication to engage with shareholders both clearly and contemporaneously he has latched onto one or two to do his job for him and to save him the trouble and indeed to give him a buffer which is weak in the extreme. My focus now is to hope that my hedge in JLP will recover some of my losses and perhaps a little return here in the fullness of time. I will resist venting here any more and will engage on the JLP board in a more productive manner to save others from having to read my musings.

Bring - you appeared to get off on the fact that fellow shareholders used to hang onto every word from your private updates from AB as if you were some kind of company expert in a privileged position and you denounce people like 3card and me who have been around the block a few times, see right through it - and want you to know that. If you had provided useful information from these conversations which we could not possibly glean from public information and they were not price sensitive ( as that would be illegal if you acted on it) you would have earned my respect. In fact quite the contrary as the inexperienced on here appear to have built up a degree of hope and indeed before suspension perhaps were influenced by your overtly positive transcripts from these conversations . Allianze has the right idea but AB will simply do what he does - duck and dive and avoid implicating himself. The damage is done now and all that is left is for the vultures to pick at the bones so perhaps you may learn from this as AB has played you like an old fiddle and you must feel gutted that he has. Let's hope that whether we are listed on an even less regulated exchange or remain private there is still a morsel or two for us to receive in return for a brutal experience. Nothing to do with Brexit, decent results in line with forecasts, small rate rise with help NII so a positive and should not increase impairment much at all, other Banks positive too and now very well capitalised so everything points to the fact that more money should flow into the sector. Perhaps the fund managers all on hols so will start buying when they get back.

Appreciate the background Edzi and will watch progress in coming months with some considerable interest. Basic resources usually does well late cycle so hoping for a good run over the next couple of years and let's hope that the global trade wars does not hamper promising overall GDP growth! This will drop on open Monday as the uncrossing trade is not right suggesting late buying which is not apparent. As I said earlier in the week Secker seems to have been blind-sided here with no contingency plan hence the radio silence. I suspect once-bitten hence he will ignore the capital markets for now and stick with trying to secure commercial deals linked to product delivery at least that way he can negotiate a deal and avoid another train crash on the price which the shorts have jumped on in a major way. This is only a problem if you have to release cash now which I would not consider at this bargain basement price. I suspect that shorts will have to cover and at some point they will giving us a boost but Eecker could help that along with a positive RNS next week please!!

Hi Edzi - yes BMR and their CEO have failed significantly and I should know as I am invested in BMR but bought in here end of last year as a hedge as the Kabwe assets are valuable but have not had the right people in place to monetise them. I would like to be more certain that Leon can deliver on his promises but after being fed a lot of garbage by Borelli I will remain hopeful rather than confident until such time as he proves to me at least that I am invested in a company that can truly deliver value. If he does deliver on all fronts this will be reflected gradually in the share price and it should return to 4p-5p as the milestones are met and sentiment returns. When the zinc circuit is delivered and vanadium licence is obtained along with continued progress on existing projects that is when significant value can be unlocked in my view but that will be 2019 and beyond.

So, we have a dubious article which has spooked some to sell creating a big move to the downside. We know that the company has and will defend this so important to see this for what it is. Given the time taken to deliver here the management need to get onto the front foot and stop this in its tracks and the manipulators behind it. We are cash rich and whilst we are dependant on The Nigerian government to free up funds before I think dividends will be announced we are at the mercy of some who want the price to drop.

Leon and Colin ( a director of BMR remember) know how much is at stake here. I suspect in the ongoing discussions about how much more and when they will invest into Kabwe Ops they will negotiate new profit split in conjunction with an agreement as to how BMR will offload JLP shares and when as they will need cash to survive but also to contribute to Kabwe Ops so still have some leverage owning JLP shares. They will also have to obtain the nod from the Zambian ministry about likely timeline and progress and that this all will have to be carefully co-ordinated. Can they do this whilst delivering the zinc plant on time - don't know, but if they have doubts they will surely seek an extension in principal in advance of investing more here. As I have said before this is pretty complicated stuff to get all ducks in a row but if they pull it off it could be the making of JLP.

I suspect the 3 investors ( if they did exist) will be saying ' there but for the grace of god, go I' and will be giving Ponzirelli a wide berth along with every other broker, nomad, banker, company director. Indeed he may be encouraged to consider his position on other Boards and if I was a director of companies where he is still involved I would not be comfortable with the lingering smell every time he walks into the Board room. Having said all of that I still think that there is a small chance that shareholders get something back if the plant is built as promised but a smaller slice of the pie naturally.

I suggest you reflect on what you have just written. Now is not the time for mindless comments when so many have lost so much. I hope that a shareholder group is set up and someone shrewd with experience of business and financial markets and importantly the time to devote to it holding AB to account. With respect you don't come across as that sort of person. I will tip my worthless shares in along everyone else and will give the benefit of my own experience as required but best for all if someone of substance leads it. Just my opinion.

3card - yes I also bought JLP shares as a hedge last year but nursing a heavy loss at the moment. The assets are still there and I am hoping in the fullness of time with proper management of the processing I may be able to recover some heavy losses in BMR. Of course time will tell but thankfullly I can wait a few years longer!

Yes it l ooks as though jLP will take control of the licence as many on here have guessed unless funds can be found to recompense JLP. Of course we have all had to guess for months what may transpire as that incompetent individual masquerading as a CEO tells shareholders through formal channels virtually nothing. As much as it may make one feel better contacting the FCA I suspect it will prove pointless. If AB goes now, JLP will take 100% as they are in situ but perhaps that is the PLAN. Who would have thought that this may be orchestrated in this way.......

Donotpanic - when you say ' shorters leaving' I assume that you mean that the short funds are reducing their position. If that is what you mean you should know that when short funds cover their position i.e. "Leave" they have to BUY shares to close. These sells, if they are sells could be new shorts opening. Important to understand the difference so that you can follow what may be going on.

So what positives can the principal cheerleader come up with now? Silence, which is a surprise after announcing your return a few hours ago. All those who backed him to the hilt may come to realise that he Led folks up the garden path with his reference to constant conversations with Ponzirelli implying positive actions which came to nothing, zilch, nada. I am waiting for you to say that the plan will be presented when the Nomad receives advance payment and re-applies for a listing. Waiting for cheerleader No 2 to join the party as he had a huge amount in here too if you believed him. Next stop JLP RNS describing next moves.

Hoping that is a new investor rather than short covering. Word may start to drift out to the market which will manifest in higher volume and larger trades . Keep them coming!
