Elephant acquired the licence in Aug 21 but need to spend $5m on exploration under licence terms. The licence lapses after eight years [ three years nine month left].

They spent a fortune on a proposed IPO to get the $5m but no one was interested and it never happened.

Hard to see with current oil prices and given location ( significantly inland) anything worthwhile happening. Licence will just revert to Namibia government IMO.

The accounts list all subsidiary companies and associates. Nothing registered re Greenland so debt is IMO with RRR PLC.

I think not only did Bell not sell Greenland for $20m ( money lost in Cypriot bank). He picked up a huge remediation charge for environmental damage.

He was to embarrassed to admit it and its only come out as we are questioning the balance sheet.

They have been expensing small amounts on Greenland for years. Interest ?

The balance sheet and arrangement with lenders to me means prospects here long term are poor.

Very rare RRR is honest but the financial comments here should worry the bulls.

The comments on Greenland were really odd. Most of a £2.1m other creditors were a liability dating back to 2010 re Greenland and the creditor is prepared to wait until DRC arbitration.

The lack of disclosure on this, what it's for , interest etc is pretty amazing. It also strikes me we have had many years since 2010 when other creditors were cumulatively less than this debt.

As with everything RRR as clear as mud and no articulation or transparency of the data that matters.

Twenty nine days maximum for accounts or if no accounts suspension.
