Drilling more than 2,000m needs really experienced drillers .
Drilling at an angle means the depth they can reach with 2,000m won't reach the ore base.
Drilling lower down from the Decline will be a lot cheaper

Well that Presentation has made Hannams calculations out of date already .
2m tons to 5-6m tons per annum
From memory $26m profit from 2024, so will that now increase to $70-80m pa.

I doubt if all the 65,000m of drilling between now and June to be included in an August Resource estimate.
It takes time to integrate the results into system.
What we have at the moment will move up a level, the Inferred resource should move upwards dramatically with still areas outstanding for the next update.

Remember Tier 1 assets keep on giving.

Open at depth exploration drilling will be done later from the Decline but some may be done within the 65k

In the Havieron presentation on the NCM web site they are saying the resource estimate will come pre PFS.
Could that be August???

It's very intriguing what's going on at Scallywag.
The MMI results showed high copper readings at the south end of Blackbeard and Northwest side of Teach.
Magictrades in his presentation thought this was going to be a copper/gold area.
Can't wait for the Teach drills :))

It looks very promising for Blackhills from what you are saying.
The drill results at A29 (Saddlereef)look ok but not outstanding although it's sticking out of the ground, am I right in thinking you are suggesting a deeper anomaly?
Going back to London the sill they found between the Wilki and the Puntapunta formation was not the cause of the magnetic readings and they're saying they would like to go deeper to find the magnetic anomaly. They are suggesting skarn type or another sill what are your thoughts on that?

They've shown Teach just south of target A38. I hope they take the right plan with them when they start drilling :))

I remember you commenting on the anomaly now called Teach.
I don't remember the Malu formation being mentioned in the Saddlereef drill logs, these mention the Lamill granites which run down to Rudall.
I will have to read them again

You could be right reading that.
The amount of equipment going in I would have expected the road to be one of the first things to achieve.
The Decision to Mine appraisal by both company Boards looks a bit of a formality what's happening on the ground , there's no going back now their going for it.

Yes the supply problem with copper is the nearly the same for both new technologies but the copper development agency has reported the charging supply needs 1,700 kilotons by 2025 , that's a huge volume

I had an interesting discussion the other day whether the vertical shaft will be constructed from the bottom up or downwards.
I've only got experience of going down and the other chap of going up.
When rereading the mining docs application though it reads about sinking the shaft, so it looks like going downwards.
I believe it's the water extraction that has decided this, there are 3 aquifers to get through and need draining before recommencing the shaft.
One of the diagrams shows numerous drill holes sent down to test the water table. These will probably used to drain the aquifers as the shaft goes down.
If you draw water out of the shaft this will have the effect of drawing water towards the shaft. Better to pump from surrounding holes to draw water away from the shaft.

The box cut base is founded through the first aquifer and I think is 5m into it. The rock from the aquifer is being used for the roads, being saline I think is the reason for the roads looking whiteish.
The water from the top 2 aquifers is suitable for reverse osmosis to make it potable, but the lower one at the base of the Decline is highly saline and will be sent to the evaporation ponds
