Greatland Gold the precious and base metals exploration and development company
Clusters of elevated gold, silver, arsenic, copper and iron in MMI results are proximal the peak co-incident gravity and magnetic response.
An elevated MMI response in pathfinder elements (cerium, lanthanum, uranium and lead) to the immediate SE of Havieron suggests primary basement mineralisation may be present along strike in a structural contact for up to 1.5 kilometres. Peak MMI responses over Havieron were 4ppb silver, 70ppb arsenic, 25ppb gold, 834ppb cerium, 710ppb copper, 53ppm iron, 284ppb lanthanum, 860ppb lead and 112 ppb uranium.

No mention of cobalt at that point

Arsenic in itself is a debit to the AISC but there are a lot of arsenoids that contain other elements like tellurides that contain gold.
I am unsure what other elements besides
gold,copper,silver and iron can be retrieved at Telfer but a lot of other minerals will come as credits to the AISC from the smelters in SE Asia

Goliath

Goliath: Originally identified as a very high amplitude bulls-eye magnetic feature from 2019 aeromagnetic survey, Goliath is interpreted to be a metasedimentry dome with the magnetic anomaly at the fold hinge position. The gravity data shows a very large amplitude anomaly semi-coincident with the magnetic anomaly. Three historic drill holes were completed in the early 1990s off the northern edge of the magnetic anomaly failed to reach Proterozoic basement. This target has the most significant anomalism according to the new MMI data. Goliath is spatially coincident with a broad Ce, Cu, Au, Fe, La, Pb, Ag, Sn, Zn surface MMI response. This is a very similar geochemical signature to that observed at Havieron

Today's price of tin is hovering around the $27,000 per ton
Atomic No 50
Interesting thing about tin in the 1600s organ pipes were made of an alloy of tin and lead . The tin though started to break down and caused the pipes to look diseased.
To overcome this, tin was heated at a low temperature for a long time and turned into white tin which has similar properties to diamonds. If it comes back in contact with grey tin it breaks down again.
Tin is one of only 2 elements that make a noise when it is put under stress and is called the tin cry.
What is the potential at Goliath
My estimate of tonnage =14.5bn ton
.002% of earths crust is tin
= 290,000 ton x $27,000
is wild guesstimate at this point in time

Potential for all these elements at Goliath are vast but not a definite at this point in time , we need to drill the top coincidence deep

Goliath

Goliath target is very intriguing for me,
I've been looking at the blown up plan and cross section, on the web site you can only find it now in the Jorc section Nov 19 announcement.
The anomaly is split into 2 everything above 1000m depth and everything below 1000m
The Residual gravity survey plan and the magnetic survey plan are shown above this section. On these they've plotted the 3 historic drill holes, on the gravity plan it's missed the centre of the high gravity area but on the magnetic they've just clipped it.
It looks like they were targeting the magnetic zone.
When you then look at the blown up map you can see the white area of the high gravity zone and also you can see the magnetic contours. To the NW of the central zone the contours form a tight ring and looking at section A you can see a protrusion which is the tight ring.
This coincidence looks like a hot zone and porphyrittic alteration around it.
This is all between 200-1200m below surface.
The volume is about 785,000 cubic metres or 2.1bn tons
comparing this with Havieron 176,000 cubic metres or 484m tons , that's about 4x larger than Havieron.

This is the magnetic anomaly above 1,000m depth but it is also the coincidence with the high gravity zone.
We also have MMI results for this target.
So from what Goldworm suggested:-
Goliath has:-

MMI results - tick

When you go back to the cross section between 1200-2400m below surface the coincidence continues and is far larger.
Looking to the plan again, the contours below the ring are more spread out indicating a flatter zone . This flatter zone spreads out southwards, you can see this on the cross section just below the 1000m and will get wider the further south you go.
I have calculated the tonnage but the figures are embarrassingly large for the coincidence from 1200-2200 below surface,
I don't want to be seen Bamping :)))

Outamind

I'm looking forward for Artemis drilling results of Apollo not really any of the others.
My reasons for this is that it is in a very similar position to Outamind:-
They're both sat adjacent to the same fault line.
They're both in the same magnetic rock unit

Not much to go on from published data of Outamind.
From the 2 magnetic and gravity plans ,
4 historic drill holes can be seen targeting the North end of the magnetic anomaly missing the centre.
The high gravity anomaly is in the Southern end, it looks like the coincidence will be small.
Both anomalies look ovoid in shape around 2,000m x 1,000m.
The fault line runs passed the Western and Northern edges.
It has had an MMI survey.
There is another target slightly to the NE which has had some historic drills the magnetic anomaly is of lower intensity.
The fault line runs to the North and East of it.
That's about all I can find out on Outamind

if Apollo proves up ok will NCM/Ggp extend the Decline tunnel in the future to extract its minerals with a jv with Artemis.
Might sound daft but there will be tunnels heading towards the NW end of Havieron to probably stope the NW crescent.
Could also be true for Artemis other targets around the boundary:))

Ernest Giles

this is what I posted sometime ago on my opinion of the Ernest Giles situation.

Looking at the drilling results I don't believe they were understood and the context when they were issued.
The 2016 drilling were mainly wildcat exploratory holes.
The 2018 drilling focused on finding the anomalies using Newmonts Deep Sensing Geochemical survey 13 out of 23 found the anomalies over a large area. These results looked fairly good to me but the timing of the results was unfortunate for EG, which came in between the gold nugget news at Blackhills and the first drill results at Havieron.
Of course the Havieron results out shined
EG and Gervaise issued this statement on 27 Sep 18

Warrentina

Warrentina does have some strong results.
It's a long north to south licence stretching over 10km.
It has 4 goldfields Forester in the N, Warrentina in the centre,
Derby N further down
Golden Mara in the S

This was a bit from the last RNS on Warrentina only 11 months ago:-

Greatland previously conducted limited Reverse Circulation (“RC”) drilling at Derby North, which outlined a gold mineralised system approximately 150m long and 100m wide, open to the north, east and at depth. The Company has now completed its maiden diamond drilling programme at the prospect with three diamond holes for a total of 285m of drilling. This targeted drilling campaign was designed to provide a better understanding of the host rocks, type and tenor of gold mineralisation, and highlight any structural controls. Laboratory assay results have now been received and are announced today.
Highlights of Drill Results
• Maiden diamond drill programme at Derby North prospect intersects high-grade gold mineralisation and increases depth extent of known mineralisation.
• Best results include:
o 21.7m@3.3g/tAufrom9.3m(2019WTD001),including
? 2.2m @ 12g/t Au from 10.8m
o 11.7m@2.8g/tAufrom115m(2019WTD002)–a new zone of gold
mineralisation beneath previous drilling

• Results and data collected from the drilling programme are expected to assist with potential divestment of the project, in line with the Company’s strategy to seek to divest non-core projects.

You can see from this at present it is not seen as a core investment and maybe divested.
Depends now on what Shaun does.

You can also see the drill campaign RC first the DD to go deeper.
They also drilled to test the host rocks not just looking for minerals

Firetower
If there is a choice to keep either Firetower or Warrentina my choice would have to be Firetower.
A licence with some good historical surveys .
stream analysis have found 320g/t au.
Geochemistry analysis.
gold 4,450ppb
copper 3.2%
3 zones :-
central 1,000m strike.
west 800x400m strike
east 2km strike
it's got well over a million ounces in the central zone alone and loads of copper.

Firetower Tasmania

On the Firetower licence there are 5 targets identified:-

Firetower target looks like bulls eye target very close to the surface with a high grade average of greater than 2g/t about 50m in diameter. There is a very easy to read cross section on the web site where they have shown metal contours , the purple colour is the 2g/t. below this is a brown contour rising from depths +100m from surface.
High grades of 31g/t found
Copper has been found to the west of this

Firetower East:-
Underexplored.
A couple of holes have picked up high grades of zinc and a small amount of gold.

Underexplored
Two drill holes have picked up copper and gold

Star of the West
Gregories Road
Both gold mineralisation targets
Little information otherwise on these 2

Even though they have limited information from a few holes they seem excited about what they have learnt.

"Zinc, gold and silver mineralisation has been intersected in the second drill hole at Firetower East
underscoring the potential for a Volcanic Hosted Massive Sulphide (“VHMS”) system with precious metal content in addition to base metals.
Encouraging results indicate the potential for a base metal Volcanic Hosted Massive Sulphide (“VHMS”) system
Significant results from the second hole at Firetower East (2019FTD016) include 31m at 2,581ppm Zn from 184m, including 3m at 8,745ppm Zn from 191m, and 1m at 2.1g/t Au from 224m."

Tabletop 1 - "quality prospect"
dense source about 1200m deep in the gravity anomaly.
Deeper magnetic source possibly massive nickel- sulphide intrusion, basement rocks down to about 2,000m

Tabletop 2
A higher quality prospect is shallower than Tabletop 1
200-800m

The gravity responses in both are not as strong as Olympic Dam but the strong densities in gravity and magnetic anomalies bulls eyes make this an attractive prospect.

The consultants are recommending drilling Tabletop 2 first to 800m and then Tabletop 1 afterwards down to 1,000 possibly 1200m.
Tabletop 3 is not recommended to be drilled.

I know in my own mind the assets are worth multiples of the share price.

Just a few highlights of our assets:-

Havieron:-
A multi speed development of a mine with a joint venture with a global mining company. A leading expert in underground bulk caving.
Gold resources could range eventually to between 12-28m oz plus major copper resources and also major cobalt resources.

Juri jv:-
Paterson Range East:-
Multiple gold / copper targets 12 known at present including the giant Goliath target a 15bn+ tons target that's 30 times more tonnage than Havieron.
Blackhills:-
At least 6 targets including Saddlereef 1400m long gold target one end poking out of the ground suitable for open pit.
Also Parlay a bullseye feature on top of a main fault line.

Panorama:-
A very long Paleo-placer goldfield to the north
To the south a very large cobalt anomaly possibly the largest in Western Australia and possibly Australia.

Scallywag 100% owned:-
At least 12 known targets the majority of which are sat near fault lines.

This is a big company in the making and I'm certainly going to enjoy the ride

I will keep posting this while negative posts about those 3 drills still persist.

3 x3" holes in a licence 20km long.

Ggp have started exploring Scallywag they have done a serious amount of above ground survey work that they can do before needing to drill.
On the first drills you don't go deep,
one to keep the costs down, restrictions what the drill type can drill through and the knowledge that can be retrieved from a shallow well.

Magma can travel vast distances horizontally and vertically under great pressures and heats.
The heats and pressures change the surrounding rocks by drawing out their minerals into the magma, so the further from the source the lower the pressures and temperatures and different minerals are drawn in.
That means different mineralisation will form at different distances from the source.
Looking at those 3 drills at Kraken there is arsenic and gold and at Blackbeard there is lower grade gold and no arsenic.
When you look at massive intrusion diagrams gold and arsenic form close to the intrusion than copper and zinc.
Using this sort of information geologists can be directed to where the intrusion may be sited.
From what GH was saying London is pointing towards Teach.
From my lowly knowledge there is something deeper under Kraken, one of the 4 drills we are waiting for was testing where the 2 fault zones meet, so the information from that will be very interesting.
Those drills were in the porphyrittic alteration zone, it's the potassic alteration zone they are looking for.

We need to find the hot zone at Scallywag to define what we have

Positioned in the NE of the SE crescent zone heading nearly W
Drill 127
58 degrees 537 to 616m depth
True depth 465-533m
79.3m with 4.5g/t and 1.4% cu

Drill 130
54 degrees 622-731m
True depth 538-633m
109.4m with 5.9g/t and 0.63% cu

Both drills are following the same line
Theoretically these 2 averages could be combined
127 finished at 533m
130 started at 538m

They are in and out of the HGZ and concreted breccias
The copper intercepts look really good
42m @2.6%
28.4m @ 1.4%
This is all within the first 220m or so of the ore body.
Looking really good for the early production grades $$$$$$

Economical cut off grades used by Newcrest is 0.2g/t how do you explain that

That's a daft statement to make, when Telfers is less than 1g/t
You can see from my workings that I've used low specific gravity and haven't included any High Grade ore averages.
200-300m of 2g/t is bound to lift the actual grades.
If you look at the latest Artemis grades at Carlow Castle there is a lot of rock in between layers that average there will end up lower.
Havieron has consistent grades right through it.

This Eastern Breccias shape is not defined as it's only had 2 or 3 drills and I think it will end up joining the SE bulge.

The interesting bit , will it join up with the anomaly around drill 69W1 at the top.
Between the top and lower drills at this point there hasn't been any intercepts.
The ones from the SW side are deep at this point and the ones from the NE are fairly shallow at this point.
Nearly 5 weeks to next results night, can't wait :))

Calculations with the Eastern Breccias

I think I've been very careful/conservative with my assumptions:-

"I've gridded the plan and fairly accurately I believe the area = 176,000 sq m after deduction for the dyke.
I've split the depth into 2 sections
900m deep for the 650x375 section
300m deep for the 800x500 section
2.75 breccias specific gravity
0.75g/t average breccias grade

Top 900m
900x 176,000 x 2.75x 0.75 divided 31.1=10.665m oz

Bottom 300m
300x 314,255 x 2.75 x 0.75 = 6.25m oz

Total = 16.9m oz
I've worked out the gold recovery rate is about 89% average of the breccias and sulphides
Therefore the quantities are around 15.3m oz.

The 2.75 is conservatively on the low side
the 0.75g/t may increase.

It's all about the average grade but from what I'm seeing 1g/t or less is realistic "

From these calculations I've not taken into account for the High grade zone allowing this to compensate for any waste rock.
I've used 0.75g/t to allow for the shell cut off levels.

Conclusion
@0.75g/t = 15.3m oz (most likely)
@1g/t = 23.5m oz
plus 11m gold equivalent ounces
plus any cobalt gold equivalent maybe 3m oz
