Calculations with the Eastern Breccias
and also 1200m but not the northern extension
I think I've been very careful/conservative with my assumptions:-

"I've gridded the plan and fairly accurately I believe the area = 176,000 sq m after deduction for the dyke.
I've split the depth into 2 sections
900m deep for the 650x375 section
300m deep for the 800x500 section
2.75 breccias specific gravity
0.75g/t average breccias grade

Top 900m
900x 176,000 x 2.75x 0.75 divided 31.1=10.665m oz

Bottom 300m
300x 314,255 x 2.75 x 0.75 = 6.25m oz

Total = 16.9m oz
I've worked out the gold recovery rate is about 89% average of the breccias and sulphides
Therefore the quantities are around 15.3m oz.

The 2.75 is conservatively on the low side
the 0.75g/t may increase.

It's all about the average grade but from what I'm seeing 1g/t or less is realistic "

From these calculations I've not taken into account for the High grade zone allowing this to compensate for any waste rock.
I've used 0.75g/t to allow for the shell cut off levels.

Conclusion
@0.75g/t = 15.3m oz (most likely)
@1g/t = 23.5m oz
plus 11m gold equivalent ounces
plus any cobalt gold equivalent maybe 3m oz

The 420m is the cover to the top of the ore.
The 350m is the depth of the HGZ that will be shown in the MRE resource update.
To start SLC at 350m level that's another 2,000m of Decline to construct plus SLC tunnel requirements.
That's where the additional time comes in.
The stoping works in my opinion is the only way earlier works will commence.
2024 and 2028 are Hannams dates and seem logical with Decline timelines.
If you look at the 2 videos for SLC and block caving you will see the necessary tunnel systems that are needed.

Regarding the grades it's the crackle breccias that seem to have the weakest grades and they are holding down the average to 1g/t or below. Every new drilling report seems to find these zones of crackle breccias diminishing in size, which should help to increase the average. 1.25g/t would be fantastic that would give 20m oz + 11au eq (copper).
This figure could fluctuate depending on the specific gravity averages .
Crackle breccias are around 2.65
Concreted breccias around 2.85, so I have used 2.75, so the more concreted breccias then higher the average.

These figures are for 1,000m of ore
not included Eastern breccias
not included Northern extensions
not included SE extension

I've also not included any cobalt figures which could add 3m oz au eq
Cobalt is not being mentioned by either company but it is there see drill logs for 006-009. I believe this to be because it is in the sulphides and quantities will not be known until testing starts to see if it's commercial

$1.5-1.6bn is reasonable considering we have no plant to build.
Hydro's $400m is reasonable for 30% of the costs

The Havieron block caving is not due to start production(if approved) until 2028 according to the Hannam note.
What is the sequence of work:-
Decline to the top of the ore body @4m-8m per shift 3,600m long , 6m average =600 shifts presuming 2 shifts per day =300 days from June 2021
The water extraction timeline plan shows the Decline till Dec 2022.
That will include a lot of ancillary tunnels and vertical ventilation shafts required before extraction can commence.

NCM have suggested SLC mining to extract the HGZ, this will require the deeper Decline to commence.
For 1,200m of ore the Decline length =8,000m or 1,350 shifts that's over 2 years from Q4 2022
The SLC could start at the 350m depth where most of the HGZ is situated.
There will still be a lot of tunnelling to do for SLC maybe 500-600m horizontally and side shoots to the ore maybe a month or 2.
Production from SLC earliest possible start H1 2024.

Stoping works could start very quickly after the Decline and vertical shafts are complete supplying Telfer with sample ores possibly H1 2023.

For Block caving to commence in 2028 there has to be a grid system of tunnels formed at the base. I'm suggesting 1,200m of ore but it might be deeper but some of the drill logs are weaker around this depth (not a lot drills at this depth though).

In my opinion it's stoping first for sample ore

298.8m @1.2g/t at 65degrees so that's 260m horizontal distance.

Had 105 and 103 drill pad is in the SW and both head NE into the Northern Breccias.
103 hits the ore body at about 600m and grades are low in the crackle breccias near the top of the ore body , it doesn't appear to be in the Northern breccias.
105 hits the ore body about 50m lower than 103 and appears to be totally in the concreted breccias with an intercept of 298.8m.
These concreted breccias can be followed by looking at drill 101 whose pad was close to 103/5 pad and follows 105 route through the concreted breccias for over 1700m or true depth around 1560m.
It's one of the deepest drills executed at Havieron.
These concreted breccias in the Northern breccias continue downwards widening out and forming the Eastern breccias where 2 other deep drills have occurred.

To me this looks exciting if they are joined and the cross sections certainly look as though they are, then bulk cave mining for the low grades looks odds on.
If they were not joined then there may have been doubts.
1560m true depth is about 1140 depth of ore but the northern and eastern breccias continue at depth widening too.

Yes there's too many instigating negative posts lately they're are not following the drill results.
The ovoid is getting larger, denser, higher grades.
As I said I was following the path of Had65W2 right from the north to 1200m true depth into the SE crescent.
From there an intercept of 120m @9.3g/t of which 26.6m @34g/t is the sulphides.
That means the concreted breccias grades are either saturated with the sulphides or the sulphide zone is wider than drawn.
This starts at 770m true depth.
34g/t at this depth all bodes well for more High grade mineralisation further down for the SLC.
Higher production figures earlier.

People should stop listening to these doom merchants and others saying only look at published figures.
Published figures for this share are always out of date as soon as they are written. Look at the last Hannam note within a couple of days NCM drilling update.

I haven't read in the RNS that they will issue the results as soon as they are received.
It says they will do
"A more detailed evaluation of drill results will be undertaken on receipt of all analytical data from the 2020 field season "
It doesn't mention about issuing the results as soon as possible unless you've seen it elsewhere.

I hope they complete their studies prior to issuing with some firm targets for this year.
There's too much happening all round in the next 6 months to worry about these results.
Booking assets to the accounts is what matters here.

Scallywag and other licences

During the period, the Company commenced a drilling programme at its 100% owned Scallywag prospect, completing seven drill holes for 3,761 metres, with a focus on high-priority targets including the Kraken, Blackbeard and London prospects. The initial results from the first three drill holes, announced in January 2021, indicate the drilling intersected prospective target lithologies and identified pathfinder element anomalism, providing valuable geological information to assess and prioritise drill targets across Scallywag. Greatland also identified several new targets following analysis of a heliborne electromagnetic ("EM") survey data collected last year.

A more detailed evaluation of drill results will be undertaken on receipt of all analytical data from the 2020 field season and Greatland will conduct further drill testing during 2021 of existing targets and other high-priority targets identified by the EM survey.

The results will come when they've analysed them and put them in their modelling systems.
Vectoring is complicated so be patient :))

Drill 127
58 degrees 537 to 616m depth
True depth 465-533m
79.3m with 4.5g/t and 1.4% cu

Drill 130
54 degrees 622-731m
True depth 538-633m
109.4m with 5.9g/t and 0.63% cu

Both drills are following the same line
Theoretically these 2 averages could be combined
127 finished at 533m
130 started at 538m

They are in and out of the HGZ and concreted breccias
The copper intercepts look really good
42m @2.6%
28.4m @ 1.4%
This is all within the first 220m or so of the ore body.
Looking really good for the early production grades $$$$$$

Over the weekend I've been looking at the Eastern Breccias.
It is part of the ovoid ore body,it's not a separate ore body.
The size of the ore body between 900 and 1200m below top of ore body is around 800 x 500.
It's full of concreted breccias.
Drill 101 has long sections of core through it at c60 degrees angle and never reached 1200m depth.
It's still open at depth.

Query? Drill 69W1 I can't work this out?
The first intercept occurred at around 80m below the top of the ore for 89m at length and around 150m outside the ore body.
This looks like a new extension.
There's not enough drilling to know any sizes yet
It's in lower grade crackle breccias

Excited now what's under the Northwest end . (One snippet the HGZ widens further down )
