I couldn't fill that mans' shoes , he knows what he's doing, he's one of the best.
Red Chris is a great asset I can't fault it.
It's a stepping stone into another safe jurisdiction.
It's a producing asset already so funding it's own exploration and lots of opportunities to reduce costs.

However against Havieron grades it comes nowhere near.
Havieron is a once in a generation find, it will have the ability to keep Telfer plant running for many years to come.
Two to three years ago MCM were planning how to close Telfer now they are planning how to expand it

Well it's Mar 2020 and what do we have.
A share price been languishing at 1.6p has just jumped to 2.7p on Sandeep Biswas Presentation in Canada. Coming out with words like "grades ten times better than Telfer" outstanding for the Paterson Region. "We are progressing this at some speed to start the Decline by end of 2020 together with a resource estimate.
Copper price languishing around $5700
Gold Price below $1,500 ounce
Cobalt Price $27,000 pt

PI's estimates ranging from 3-5m oz
Still open at depth, to the N, to the NW, E and SE
GH still coming out with superlatives

I wonder what we will have in 12 months time in 2021

Just a few highlights of our assets:-

Havieron:-
A multi speed development of a mine with a joint venture with a global mining company. A leading expert in underground bulk caving.
Gold resources could range eventually to between 12-28m oz plus major copper resources and also large credits from other minerals reducing AISC costs like cobalt resources.

Juri jv:-
Paterson Range East:-
Multiple gold / copper targets 12 known at present including the giant Goliath target a 15bn+ tons target that's 30 times more tonnage than Havieron being drilled at the moment.

Blackhills:-
At least 6 targets including Saddlereef (A29) 1400m long gold target one end poking out of the ground suitable for open pit. Gold, copper and silver target.
Also Parlay a bullseye feature on top of a main fault line. Due for drilling shortly.

Panorama:-
A very long Paleo-placer goldfield to the north
To the south a very large cobalt anomaly possibly the largest in Western Australia and possibly Australia.
Although cobalt is not a key mineral objective of the company it has huge potential to reduce costs.
Revisiting the data the company has found it to have Nickel mineralisation as well, a key commodity.

Scallywag 100% owned:-
At least 12 known targets the majority of which are sat near fault lines.
Under explored but drilling of Teach and Swan due this summer.

Rudall :- 100% owned
Bullseye feature under explored , drilling possible this drilling season.

Ernest Giles:- 100%
2 x 5m oz targets identified plus numerous 1m+ camps of gold deposits
Plus a large nickel target
Large licence which lapsed has been re acquired with an additional joining licence.
The length of Ernest Giles compares to around 2/3rds the length of the M25.

A 10km north to south licence with 4 goldfields and existing mines.

upcoming exploration reports.

I would expect the Havieron Indicated Resource in the Autumn to have a lot less tonnage but the grades are far higher than Red chris
The Havieron potential growth prospects are enormous where Red chris will struggle to keep up.

They might pick up alteration minerals when going passed 400m and also before it but I wouldn't count on the grades being that good . Probably all go to the tip.
The historical drills did pick up alteration outside the anomaly inside the 400m cover.
Slim chance of pay dirt to my mind, but you never know:))

This is a piece on sonic drilling core drill and it gives examples of depths drilled at the start and less depths when they hit areas of interest.

Further to the announcement made on 1 October 2018, Greatland Gold plc (AIM:GGP), the precious and base metals exploration and development company, is delighted to announce exceptional laboratory assay results from the Company's first drill hole (HAD005) of the current campaign at its 100% owned Havieron licence in the Paterson region of Western Australia.
Highlights of HAD005 Drill Results:

That last statement is way out of date
conversion factor now 1.65% @ gold price of $1400 and copper @$3.60 used for MRE

Even that statement is now out of date with gold @ $1770 and copper price $4.40 per lb.

Hope everything ok with you.
That's a very difficult question to answer.
It all depends on the hardness of the rock and depths.
RC and Air blast drills are quicker than Diamond drills as they drill through soft rock and materials are continually sent to surface into sample bags but their depths are limited.
Diamond drill is used where rock is encountered and used at depth.
At shallower depths they can retrieve 12m cores but this practice can cause issues with stuck drills.
4-6m is normal practice for retrieving cores, the deeper they go the the time to retrieve cores lengthens.
If a diamond drill hits a clay seam this can clog up the bit.

I'm expecting the infill drilling to give an indicated resource for most of the top 350m.
Then I'm expecting the next 350m down to be infilled for an Inferred Resource.
Exploration drilling afterwards maybe in June but might have started already
ATB:))

I'm not expecting many deep drills at this stage.
I would expect those outstanding drills to be still infilling for MRE to conform to the JORC requirements.
These should be down to around 600m of ore maybe 700.
This would give Indicated Resource down to 350m for the SLC planning and then an additional Inferred lower layer for the next SLC level planning.
Deeper exploration drills will be from the inside of the Decline closer to the Ore to cut costs and be able to get lower down.
No point in planning for the bulk caving in detail at this moment in time.

Exploration of other targets will start when they've finished the infill , it may have already started.
When it does start there may be some drills that miss so don't get wound up about it

I found the drill results enlightening , I won't say why but you can listen to my thoughts with Bottle over the weekend.
The thought that there are a great deal of drill results to come is very exciting, over 40 I believe.
The last drills upto June may be tackling new finds at Havieron, the thought Apollo maybe connected to Havieron is mind boggling. Check out Artemis 3D on their presentation it certainly looks like it.
Still loads of results shows upto the PFS to take in.

The first chart for gold shows gold discoveries through last century to about 2003.
On the left is the million ounces rising bottom to top.
You can see the plethora of discoveries in the 1980's and 90's, come to the end of the century and they drop off a cliff
Havieron is going to be in the top third of these discoveries way above anything around at present.
Havieron is going to be a Tier 1 no doubt about it.
Tier 1's keep on giving
