If you look at the angle of the drill 50degrees reduces a 27m drill length to 20m.
Ignore all the included figures as they have already been added to the intercept averages.
CB is running it.

It's not a bankable asset at the moment, it's all about sentiment, exploration results, accelerating work .
We've not long to wait for the asset to be added to the accounts sometime between the PFS and the vent shaft start in January but lots of things happening between then and now

If you are looking for a porphyry system, Titanium can be found to be decreasing going away from it in Chlorites, but in Epidotes (silicates) it increases going towards it.
The reverse happens with Strontium.

If they find Ti and Sr the location of the centre of a magmatic intrusion can be pinpointed .
Interesting that zinc accumulation increases away from the system in chlorites, this might be like at Firetower East

I've been watching a Youtube presentation on Epidote and Chlorite vectoring. The new science to finding porphyry systems.

Simply put Epidotes are silicates and chlorites are found in the peripherals of magmatic intrusions with sulphides.
They are effected by hydrothermal magmatic fluids and there cooling.
Copper concentrations tend to stay in the sulphides.
Titanium is a key vector as is strontium but they react differently with fluid cooling.
Ti moving away from a porphyry system decreases in quantity where as Sr increases away from the system.
Can't say I understood it all but I got the gist.
I haven't seen these 2 mentioned in the MMI surveys but they are trace elements so can't be used in that way

Please give us your calculations, that was a figure plucked out the air with absolutely nothing to back it up.

The high grade sulphides will provide multi commodity credits to go against the AISC and these will be coming out first.
Then the SLC will start 2024 on the SE crescent HGZ so even more credits.

If the gold price were to remain at $1835 and copper were to reach $30,000 then the revenues before costs would be equal.
Assumptions based on 1g/t and 0.2% copper .
@0.4% copper price $20,000 would be dramatic and Havieron would become a copper/gold deposit with copper revenues 30% higher than gold.
I can't see gold staying at these levels though.

In that piece on mining . com they say that because of falling reserves miners are having to lower their cut offs to keep the mines viable

Paddy gave me this the other day about the Declines at Cadia 2014

"Project since June 2010 to the end of November 2013. This includes the following major excavations:
• Main decline: Total linear distance of 5.6 miles (9.1 km) from surface at a gradient of 1 in 7; ?
• Conveyor decline: Comprising ve legs of conveyor drive with a total length of 4.7 miles (7.6 km); mined at a gradient of 1 in 5.3 from surface; ?
• Crusher chambers: Three major underground excavations with approximate dimensions of 130 ft (40 m) in length by 85 ft (26 m) in height by 40 ft (12 m) in width, each; ?
• Undercut level: Over 1.9 miles (3 km) of tunnels; ?

That's for 1200m of ore and 200m below it.
To get to the same ore depth at Havieron we will need to get down 1800, so that's another 400m depth or 2,857m length on top of the 9,100 Cadia length.
I hope Paddy or Bottle put the diagram up on their sites for everyone to see the scale of the work ahead.

I was expecting to see another spiral below the one we have but I've been told that spirals cause great wear and tear on the truck tyres and one spiral is too many.
The diagram at Cadia shows one spiral like Havieron's near the surface and the rest is long straights with dog legs getting shorter at depth.
The separate Conveyor Belt Decline at Cadia has no spiral just 5 long straight sections with dog legs at 1:5.3 gradient = 9,647m length for a Havieron conveyor .
There's not much room at Havieron for long lengths.
I'm speculating here but Scallywag (Kraken) is about 6km from Havieron.
The Conveyor could come out at surface near Kraken, transporting ore to Telfer from there will be a lot less difficult.
I would expect some move by NCM will happen for a jv or buy in of Scallywag in the not too distant future.

I've always been " a one on me own " I remember sitting in a lecture theatre at work at the front and everyone had to say their name and what they did in the firm. When it got to me the lecturer said "we all know who you are" :))

Just over 12 months ago I was posting my calculations of 7-10m oz ore body and giving my reasons why and others were ridiculing those assumptions.
I never guess at I'm finding and will check my calcs from different angles.
Those that ridiculed then still do so but are now guessing what the MRE figures will be.
I haven't really seen anyone else quantifying the ore body in a scientific manner.
NCM and Ggp , brokers and Institutions have better people at it than I am and look what is happening .
NCM going like a bull at a gate maybe the fastest mine ever to get to production especially at this depth.
Brokers giving estimates way above posters estimates for MRE
Institutions ploughing in vast sums.

I can only measure what has been published but with some scientifically based assumptions, if you don't want to believe my calculations then maybe post your own calcs not guesses but you will get left behind big time.

Havieron could be the largest find in the last 50 years, to know what means you will to do some research.
It will be classed as a Tier 1 mine officially by the FS.
a World Class mine has been said by top people do some research on what that means.
The next NCM update might be astronomical with the amount of expansion drilling, it might give us some definite perimeters or on the other hand they might not find the edges.
Whatever happens it will be still open at depth.

and that was with 15% dilution deducted and using 0.75g/t.
One of my posts this week I proved that the formula for working out the equivalent factor is too low, so when Zoros says when we get the MRE everything can be based on that is not strictly true. The more the prices rise the equivalent factor becomes out of date.
Also when prices rise the dilution factor reduces and the cut off values become out of date and the economics of the shells alter.
Higher price rises have a very positive effect on the economics of the MRE shells , increasing economical tonnages within them and the expansion of the number of the shells .

I always try to show my calcs as clearly as possible with why and where my assumptions have come from.
My calcs
Calculations with the Eastern Breccias
and also 1200m but not the northern extension
I think I've been very careful/conservative with my assumptions:-

"I've gridded the plan and fairly accurately I believe the area = 176,000 sq m after deduction for the dyke.
I've split the depth into 2 sections
900m deep for the 650x375 section
300m deep for the 800x500 section
2.75 breccias specific gravity
0.75g/t average breccias grade

Top 900m
900x 176,000 x 2.75x 0.75 divided 31.1=10.665m oz

Bottom 300m
300x 314,255 x 2.75 x 0.75 = 6.25m oz

Total = 16.9m oz
I've worked out the gold recovery rate is about 89% average of the breccias and sulphides
Therefore the quantities are around 15.3m oz.

The 2.75 is conservatively on the low side
the 0.75g/t may increase.

It's all about the average grade but from what I'm seeing 1g/t or less is realistic "

From these calculations I've not taken into account for the High grade zone allowing this to compensate for any waste rock.
I've used 0.75g/t to allow for the shell cut off levels.

Conclusion
@0.75g/t = 15.3m oz (most likely)
@1g/t = 23.5m oz
plus 11m gold equivalent ounces
plus any cobalt gold equivalent maybe 3m oz

These calcs take it down to about 1600m below surface.
If it continues downwards which looks very possible the mine could get to 2300m below surface.
This may be way in the future but it would add a big tonnage to the mine.
I know I said I wouldn't post the figure but getting ridiculed for a bit of fun here goes.
No matter what specific gravity or variation of grades the additional tonnage of concreted breccias would exceed 20m oz without copper, indeed after removal of 15% dilution I'm still up and over 25m oz on top of the earlier calcs which puts up to just below 50m oz without copper.

The real bullish figure would be going down to a depth of 2300m. That's deep for Australia and bulk mining.
Hydrogen quipped last year 70m oz who am I to argue with him :))
