A bit more conjecture
Hac9201 an historical drill around 1994 they drilled vertically to about 550m, so it was deep enough.
Inserting this into my isometric it’s position is 100m outside the orebody to the WSW.
It encountered strong alteration and a zone of breccia with a high grade zone from memory around 1 to 2g/t.
This is positioned to the north of the Decline.

Is this one of Callum’s Screen saver anomalies :))

The colours on the magnetic and gravity surveys indicate the strength of those signatures.
For the mineralisation you have to look at the geochemistry or MMI results before any drilling.
That Artemis colour is the strength of the magnetic survey

The first drilling campaign especially Had01 and 05 must have been extremely lucky or very precise targeting.
I’ve done a detailed isometric of these drills.
Bearing in mind the 5 historic drills found around 420m of cover, Had01 went straight down through the cover and then hit biotite( an iron rich black mica) this carried on 498m before going down through the side of the sulphides, going in and out of it.
I believe they hit the Dyke, a few metres to the east they wouldn’t have found the sulphides.
Had02,03 and 04 all hit weak crackle breccia slightly to the north within the ovoid so no clue to the sulphides from them.
Had 05 targeted the top of the 01 drill below 498m coming in at an angle from the west following on into the sulphides through the Dyke and back out into mineralisation
If Had 05 had been 65m to the west and drilled at 60 degrees it would have missed the orebody, so pin point drilling must have been key here.

Had06 was drilled south of 01 and went down the other side of the sulphides, going in and out of the sulphides again
Had07 targeted the underside of drill 01 coming at an angle from the east , it travelled a fairway through the Dyke before hitting its target

What this shows is an oval Havieron ore body with a N to S orientation this has come from early drilling see page 2
To the N of this is Havieron North linked to the orebody then to the NW we have Zipa and Apollo.
This area looks like one orebody.
To the NW of Apollo is the Scallywag boundary unfortunately there is a gap in the survey report but the tail end of this orebody is shown into Scallywag in green.
To the NW again not on this report is the Budgiedown Rio target.
There is a NW to SE trend from Budgiedown through Apollo,Zipa and Havieron North but it doesn’t stop there. To the east of Havieron is another pale green anomaly. Is this the Eastern breccia between Havieron and the granite shown in yellow/brown?

Could this line be on a diorite Dyke?
Diorite comes from granite/basalt.

How about this for a bit of conjecture on drilling:-
Saddlereef A29 on Blackhills is/has undergone further drilling during this campaign.
I see an access road has been applied for.
We know from passed exploration that this target has little cover and gold mineralisation has been identified at surface and just below.

Is it possible they could be getting prepared to do some exploratory excavations in relation to applying for an open pit licence?
Pure speculation on my part but would be a real filip to the sp if anything like this happened :))

This is a note from the MRE Announcement on NCM web site last December. It’s in the small print down the bottom in the commentary.

Please take note of what it says:-
“
Further work

Infill drilling is underway on the top 350 vertical metres of the South Eastern Crescent within the existing resource outline, looking to upgrade the resource category to Indicated.

Growth drilling is planned to extend the limits of the mineralised system and infill drilling in the existing defined breccias looking to establish new Inferred Resources outside those stated in this announcement.”

That’s quite a strong statement of what we should be expecting.
An Indicated resource estimate is likely from the top 350m of the SE crescent.
That leaves the bottom 300m still in Inferred category.
Also the Northern breccia pockets are still in Inferred category.

SD has pointed us to December for the growth drilling, so an increase in the Inferred category due in December.
Sandeep mentioned the PFS will hopefully be in September with an MRE (Indicated) prior to that.

The MRE top 350m can’t be based on the 4.2m in the previous announcement, it’s different volumes and grades .
Both grades and volumes have increased a lot.
Basing a calculation on the known sizes of the sulphides 550x50x350 deep x 3(Sg) x 5g/t = 4.6m oz
Less 15% dilution = 3.9m oz gold only
Some of this may not be included in the shell cubes due to Kriging variations within the cubes , so my estimate would be around 3m without copper or what’s in the breccia

Could be Mickey. Ominous that all these targets are on the same side of the fault.
The trend through the ore body I’m hoping it extends up to Lake Havieron but some of the pressures deep down have come up through the orebody. If it’s gone passed LH could this be why all those drill pads out to the west which caused some speculation a couple of months back

The Havieron thrust fault runs on a NW-SE line from the Artemis licence SW of Enterprise , on into the Havieron licence SW of Meco and on into Scallywag, SW of Teach, on passed the SW of Blackbeard and circling round to the N of Kraken and S of Archie.

It could be very crucial in finding another ore body

The brown area of interpreted granite perimeter in the Havieron licence runs on a NW-SE line slightly NE of Havieron North and Zipa.
Apollo though is central between that granite perimeter line and a north trending fault that goes off to Outamind.
Meco and Enterprise are situated near the Havieron thrust fault.
The one we don’t know is where the diorite Dyke/Dykes are within the ore body, these are suggested to be the cause of the intrusions into the ore body.
Diorites are known to come from basalts and granite.
Diorite is a course-grained igneous rock that forms when magma rich in silica cools slowly deep within the Earth's crust.

The 0.68 g/t at Telfer was from the inferred resource Dec 20 for the West Dome open pit.
Best not to look at that figure.
Telfer underground grade inferred was 1.4
Havieron grade last Dec 2g/t and 0.31% copper

Putting 0.68g/t into context for Havieron
The quoted ovoid size of 650x 350 taken to a depth of 1250m as shown on recent slides
& 0.68g/t =13m ounces

This would raise the oz/m value to 10,390
So the 8,500 quoted figure looks way undervalued

I’m assuming you are looking at the image with a plan on the left , a section in the middle and another image on the right showing the drill logs and ounces /metre.
The arrow pointing to the right indicates the grades increasing

They have described Nimitz as very strong alteration which you would expect so near to such a large ore body like Havieron.
There was gold mineralisation but it wasn’t much and from memory 900m deep with 600m of cover it made it unviable.
West of Havieron is less cover, east side has an increasing cover thickness from 450m, so unless it’s another Havieron economical finds are unlikely.

Oops silver not diver :))

The first few drills that Ggp carried contained initial cobalt results.
These were on the back of gold intercepts above 1g/t , if cut off values were used a lot of those intercepts would be lost.
NCM in their first drills didn’t report cobalt values because of the gold cut off grades causing cobalt values (and also a lot of other minerals including diver) to be too variable for Kriging methods to form boundaries between minerals and can’t be measured. Therefore NCM are saying that only gold and copper are the main source of revenue at this time.
With the cut off procedures being used some of the copper values are also being lost, ie where the intercepts don’t make the gold cut off but there maybe high levels of copper in that intercept which won’t be counted

Just listened to the first part of the Brew with Bottle interviewing Norf.
I enjoyed it he comes over very knowledgeable , I can’t say I agreed with everything he has said but was very good.
