Value your input here. I had a quick look at the 2019 annual report for Pexip. It's 2019 turnover growth was boosted by a merger. However, it's 2019 earnings were lower than 2018. Loop has had double digit growth in turnover every year as well perhaps not as high as Pexip but sufficient to class us as a growth company. Loop is making the right moves to grow the company for the future and hopefully will be debt free soon. Whether there should be such a big difference between the valuation of Pexip and Loop is questionable.

Yeah agree I'm impressed with management quality here. Watched an investor presentation a while ago and noticed the quality of the management - very business-like and not like much of those in aim companies.

Thanks Quickdraw18 for explaining. We know how the current tests work and how they fit into the national testing and records.

Think the new tests if self administered at home will require feeding into track and trace. Just trying to figure out the logistics of doing that when it's done at home say.

I suppose the quicker 10 minute tests may still be administered at local centres to make recording easy?

One thing I don't understand is that let's say AVCT test is super accurate and you self administer it.

Would that be enough to get you out of quarantine, back to work etc. How would that operate? Do you take a photo? Where do you send it? What if someone used someone's else's sample to give themselves the all clear? Many more questions I don't think it's as straightforward as people think.

I suppose the Avacta board have discussed all this so we might get the answers?

Self administer I was thinking this is inserting the nose swab which to do properly is normally administered by nurse. Self administer = spit in to container or on to test?

This is from the Daily Mail link in my post below and he does seem to talk about non saliva tech as well imo. I think it's been misunderstood (is that deliberately I wonder by CS?) as MH is not just talking about one 10 minute saliva test.

4UK reading it again I suppose it can mean ALL tests are saliva based. But it seems he is referring to many kinds of tests.

I didn't watch the interview but this is what Han**** is quoted as saying and to me he is not saying it's a 10 minute saliva test. If anyone listened to the interview he may have specifically said that.

But from this statement we are potentially included as well on 2 fronts: saliva testing and no sending back to labs (our mobile testing). If you read the statement carefully he is referring to 3 separate technologies and/or types of tests (for example says "some of them") - Saliva, mobile testing and finally quick 10 minute testing. Yet CS thinks it's all about his company!

I think it just means they will keep buying back shares if price stays below €12.

The DM refers to 2 separate mentions best ones have saliva and then 10 minutes. Sounds like 2 separate statements to me?

Yes indeed. Newsflow is beginning to increase from Spin now and new technologies are being mentioned. Exciting times to be a shareholder here.

It may take more time to gain scale as loot suggested but it looks like something worth waiting for and Spin could be huge. Now who wouldn't want to take them over and gain an advantage on future tech/royalties?

Some solid progress here should begin to underpin the share price as it will not just be a Lupus play.

This article is interesting as it suggests that Spin's newly mentioned tech assists the other emerging technologies that loot mentions, incidentally, some of those technologies have been around for a very long time. This article suggests it may make th owe other technologies viable. Presumably, Spin would get licence fees/royalties from any such future arrangements.
