Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Profits increasing due to rising gold prices and strong demand. Debt free company
This year should be very good for Shanta and I expect slow and steady rise in share price IF the bid fails.
Been here since I bought at 10p last August. I could sell now and make 45% profit but I want to wait :)
Exactly. Those 8 people don't like to hear negative news. Pink tinted glasses like I said earlier 😎
Looks like many months ahead left without mining licence as Ghanian government needs to pass the policy through the parliament first. This man's a very turbulent time for the share price . I know BoD said they are confident in getting the mining license but this RNS was more likely to calm the investors down as at this point I would say the situation isn't very confident for ALL. Other African countries are literally blocking exports of raw mineral ore like lithium from their countries. Ghana wants the ore to be processed locally as the country can miss out on billions of dollars. How will this play out for ALL? At this point it's a huge gamble. The only positive thing is that the lithium resources at Ewoyaa Project are vast and there is a lot of money to be made so sooner or later they will start mining. But how many years do we have to wait? And on what terms ALL will produce lithium? We only have clues but nothing is certain at the moment. It's sad because once a huge prosperous company now faces so many headwinds. Hopefully we will see some progress and clarification by the end of the year.
"The Green Mineral Policy approved by the cabinet on July 27, 2023 is very likely to be passed by the parliament before the end of 2023"

Interesting read which summarises a lot of recent problems in one article.
Next support level being at 15p.

Notorious. Nice. Made my day...
Here is the thing. If someone just posts things opposite to your blabla then he is ramper or deramper? Funny. This forum is full of people with predermined opinions about other people who post here. You can't think out your small brain that I am only critical to posts that suggest directors buys are so kind of signal to load up.
Directors buys are signals that are often misleading. Directors buys meant nothing in the past as the stock has consistently been falling. The fact.
Ps. I am not a desperate who has an average of 40p like many people here. So sorry but this the reality. Sorry that I don't fit
So you saying buying at the price of 47p was a good sign too? Rampers always see everything thru pink tinted glasses even if the ship is sinking.
How can this be considered a good sign? If you go to the top of the page and look the "ALL Directors Deals" tab you will see the history of Directors purchases in the past year. The directors were purchasing at 49p 27p 47p etc etc. Back then people were saying the same that this is a good sign. Since then the SP has only been falling down.
They do that to give an illusion of reassurance perhaps. The fact is the sp is going down. I remember back in 2021 ALL said they wanted to stat mining in 2024. Now they are talking about 2025-26.
It's all corruption and people blocking each other from making money, jealousy etc. It's like that in every country but Ghana is a poor country and the level of corruption is worse there. Unless somebody from ALL pays a large sum under the table nothing will ever get done there. Anyway, if it goes below 20p I will be loading.
strictlybricks,
with the Base Rate likely reaching 2.25% by the end of the year that ratio will jump from 31.9% to around 38%
What if it doesn't stop there and the Base Rate goes to 3% in 2023 as some predict? That ratio will jump further to 42%
OK, you will say it still hasn't reached 46% but don't forget other factors like rising living cost, energy, fuel, food...
Average UK salaries are not going up.
That will surely put pressure on the property prices, no?
Twitter? Who cares. The fundamentals are here and because of this it's going much higher, not because of Twitter. Ignore the small swings, they are for inpatient short-term traders but it's the long-term holders who will make more money here. 90-100p is coming soon.
hxulcolrdoh, you need be more patient. There are 2 strategies. You either trade on swings (and take a small profit) or hold long if you see potential upside regarding the share price. I think the longer you hold Gemd the better the profit. Of course I don't blame you for taking a small profit because at the end of the day a profit is a profit. But there is more to come. Recent transition in the global markets has made all commodities including diamonds crazy desirable.
Many people will agree with me that the potential upside long term is greater than downside. From now on. Don't mention 5 10 or 15 years ago. We have different times now. Many new opportunities on the market. Many new traders seeing what I see. Diamonds are always desired, especially those who come rare by, which are mined diamonds. People will pay extra for something that has taken years to grow inside our Earth, and not some artificial crap grown in 5 minutes in microwave. There will always be demand. And recently we have seen an unprecedented rise in diamonds prices showing the demand is there and it will get better.
Why did you analyse last 5 years? Why not past 2 years? If you joined in the past 2 years then you have been rewarded and you will be. If you joined before that then yes, you weren't rewarded with dividend and also you did suffer from share price drop. But things have changed now and the prospects are much greater then before Covid.
This is a 2nd consecutive year gemd is paying dividend and looking at the profits they are making from rising diamond prices we will see more dividend in coming years as gemd will be making lots of money.
This is a perfect moment to join in and enjoy the ride.
Commodity prices including diamonds are at the beginning of a sypercycle. Look at the diamond index, it will rise even more this year because of uncertainties regarding Russia and their lower ability to sell commodities to Western countries. Therefore gemd will be making serious moneys this year. Dividend of just under 4% is a lovely addition to this healthy and prosperous business.
