A quick read of that report makes me wonder what have Newmount given away in the form of Tefler. It seems there were several potential know hits which were not explored in detailed.

Guess what, I am thinking GGP should start purchasing drills themselves and setup a lab as they will be busy for decades with several programmes. It is now about how much can GGP manage at a time...!

the December quarter, which strongly support the potential for multi-year Telfer life of mine extension from

both open pit and underground opportunities.

“The high-grade West Dome Underground project is particularly exciting, returning the highest gram-metre

intercept to date of 55.3m at 7.4 g/t gold and 0.43 % copper (411 gram-metres gold). Encouragingly, this

result is the southern most assay returned to date, and the mineral system is increasing in size towards

the south which remains open. Three diamond drill rigs are now operating at the project and a maiden

Mineral Resource estimate is targeted in the March 2026 quarter.

“Resource growth and conversion drilling in the West Dome Open Pit and Main Dome Underground

continue to enhance our geological confidence in near term mining areas and longer-term extension

opportunities. In total, over 100,000 metres of new resource growth drilling will inform our next Telfer

Mineral Resource update in the March 2026 quarter.

“The quarter’s regional exploration results are encouraging, both in the Paterson and at our Ernest Giles

project, an Archean greenstone in the Yilgarn region.”

Boom that is what we wanted to keep the momentum.. !

As predicted at 17:22, gold is tumbling toward $4,750. Trump’s rhetoric is becoming increasingly predictable.

Gold is dropping as Trump is lowering his tone.. so not a bad sinish for GGP.

IMO, gold will drop back to around $4750, unless the Ginger guy drops a new verbal bomb..!

To be honest, I am amazed how long the shorter has held on their position. It will only get difficult for them once the expected news is out..

Not sure what they are thinking - reduce the losses as I can't imagine them breaking even anymore..

Everyone wants to get in gold mining right now.. that has nothing to do with their gasification tech where was apparently world class but never went anywhere..

Just a new carrot to raise funds in future, multiple raises to come before they can make any money.

Stuck here since 2019 and kicking myself of not selling out in 2p (old money), I am only 99% down.

This is going same way as ORCP where they moved into gold mining a few years ago but nothing delivered yet..!

I was a bit disappointed yesterday afternoon with the sp movement on few stocks, not realising the US markets were closed. They all go up this afternoon and it just goes on to show how US markets influence global stock exchanges.

PE is just under 10 currently

@molatovkid , I completely agree. The U.S. has taken the wrong approach in trying to fix these issues. Trump is gambling because he knows he only has a few years left. He wants fame and his name in the history books, regardless of the long-term consequences of his actions.

I think China is benefiting the most from this approach, focusing on development rather than wars.

Trump feels like a pirate of the modern era, and I believe this will backfire at some point. Another thing he has done is make his mates rich through bluffing and reckless statements. As investors, we all know how much the markets move every time he opens his mouth.

A couple more forms 8.5 out today indicating EQT buying more shares from Jefferies and Morgan Stanley on Friday over £9. Probably an indication that they are willing to paying more than £9.

So the drop today doesn't make sense.. EQT might be loving this opportunity to buy in the open market.

What have I missed here? I’ve been holding this for over five years and, after being more than 90% down, it’s been firmly in the bottom drawer.

The latest RNS talks about potential production by the end of the year — but how exactly is that meant to happen? Do they have a Maiden Resource Estimate, a completed feasibility study, all the necessary permissions in place, a mine ready to go, or access to a processing plant?

For comparison, I’m also invested in GGP. It’s taken them around eight years from discovery to reach their current stage, and they’re probably still another couple of years away from production. That’s after spending well over $1bn just to get the mine ready — and that’s without needing to build the processing plant.

So what is ORCP’s magic wand here?

I may be misunderstanding this, but some of today’s RNS announcements (referred to as Form 8.5) seem to indicate that EQT is purchasing shares directly from existing shareholders, such as Morgan Stanley. If that is the case, it would be interesting few weeks leading up to 11 Feb.
