I think you're correct there cyber - there's no way a 2 week workover at H1 will see PM delivering oil to market. 2023 is a write off now IMV.

I doubt if the locals in the far east "get" anything much. My guess is they have a deep-seated antipathy towards the Great Khural & the glitterati in Ulaanbaatar - much like many Brits regard London & the SE as being apart from the rest of the UK.

may be time to get out of this with a tiny profit - not really worth the constant worry that barc mgmt will find something else to **** up & tank the sp (again).

If you Google that you will get multiple site all extolling the virtues of investing in Mongolia. The almost unlimited natural resources, investor friendly environment, government grants to investors, ready market for products across the border in China. It's all bull's droppings - they obviously haven't spoken to any PM shareholders!

I think there's been enough talk (the Mongolians seem to be masters at it) - it's time for some ACTION!

Allegedly pursuant to the Mongolian Govt. designating the Heron land as "special purpose" and the project being "of national importance" some formalities had to be settled with the locals - contracts regarding use of the land and alternative arrangements & compensation for the displaced herders.

As usual in Gormenghast (sorry Mongolia!) all this is taking an inordinate amount of time.

It is the earnest hope of Mr. Buck and the MG that oil production may start this year but no one is holding their breath.

Mr. Buck has given no indication of any signed agreements with DQE for further Heron drills or with Petrochina for the transport & sale of any oil produced.

I'm sure MB's CV is very impressive but as the saying goes "you're only as good as your last game".

No doubt these oilers rely on a team of people to deliver results with the CEO essentially picking the team & directing their efforts to achieve success. At present the PM team (even with native Mongolians on the board) aren't cutting the mustard.

Company "news" has driven the SP down from 7p to 3.2p. No more news please unless it's super-positive & what all holders want to hear!
