I disagree, how is it tax evasion corrupt, some of the biggest players in business hardly pay any tax, as when one is up there, one can pay a lot of money to very good 'real' accountants to find a way or legally avoiding tax.

The accountants us self employed use, are the ones who help the taxman, and just dangle the odd saving in front of us, big deal.

I gets where you are coming from, but with that approach to tax, why not give them 80% instead, I mean, we will still be 20% better off.

You're forgetting the fundamental issue here, you are using your hard earned already taxed money to invest in a company that could quite easily fail (not RR btw lol) and if it did the gov will whistle and look the other way and say, Ahh well whatda do. but if you gain, the gov will be sitting with their tongue out waiting to collect all that free money.
