Sorry Scully disagree. The bidders don’t give a ... what options the bod have. They are only going to bid the minimum they can get away with. Ch said in the lights out rns we could only continue till Xmas. This is a fire sale not ‘we will only accept a great offer’ situation. Beggars can’t be choosers. Inexplicably Ch told the bidders we were up the creek, in my view it was to make a low offer acceptable. We shall see, I only have 5k in here at the moment, so I’m hoping to be proved wrong, but my point is options have no baring on bid price. CH has told them we need them.

I know my opinion won’t be popular with holders but I think the lights out rns by Colin was his attempt to make a low take over price seem good. If the sp was still hovering around .4 holders would have taken 1p in a shot. It was only the intervention of Walters and co. that got the emergency meeting and moved things forward, forcing Colin to acknowledge permits will be forthcoming. If Colin was looking at a future for Ast he would have taken a pay cut and stayed full time, instead he is looking for other opportunities. I hope we do get a higher offer but I can’t see why.

As for this highest price in the last 12 months. What if they don’t take over Ast just buy the petrovjci asset? What rules then?

Obone. There is no plan B. Inexplicably they announced that and caused the sp to crash. They have knee capped negotiations. I’m going to be unpopular and say take over at 1p. I think it will be recommended by the board because they will say it’s not as much as we wanted but we have no choice. The options are irrelevant, Whoever takes Ast will offer ‘consultancy roles’ worth bundles to board members pi’s will scream and stamp their feet to no avail. Yes I have sold most of my holding, kept a few in case I’m completely wrong, I’m just not sure where all the enthusiasm has come from.
